March 1, 2006 - Yall Still With Me? Disaster, My game was Robbed!!!!

Yall still with me? Well....Its been a while since I have been posting, maybe cause I haven't been working since the new year...

Oh well, I got some shit lined up and hopefully I can start back to work this month...

But my world in Poker...

First off, I have to say that my game was robbed on January 28, 2005.
This was some fucked up shit. I had one of the best games in Maryland and someone had to come and fuck it up for all of us. Now a days, its hard to find a game during the week now because everyone is being cautios about all the robberies goin on in MD/VA at these poker games. Its some fucked up shit, but luckily everyone came out un-harmed. They did get a lil over $5,000 with cell phones, keys, wallets and all that shit...they came in through the balcony door...3 masked men with 2 shot guns and one hand gun that was pointed to the back of my head and the bama asked where the money was at, I tried to only give him the re-buys for the night because the boat load of the money was in my room, but the bitch ass nigga demanded all the money...the fucked up thing about it, was the bama came directly to me, so basically they have either been scoping the game or even played with us before....

Anyway, I have been playing alot of online poker and still attending the home games that are still running, I won't let these bums fuck my game up...

So lets get caught up on my poker...

I did get 2nd in the Party Poker $100 buy in for $1800!



That weekend, Me and June headed up for AC dispite the fact that we knew the blizzard was bout to hit the whole east coast LOL What better place to be stuck at than the AC!

Anyway, we head down to the Borgata cause its late...I do ok...then go on a bad run, now im stuck a lil under $500 bucks...we are about to go home, but its Saturday night and we are dead tired....we end up falling asleep in his car and wakin up around 7AM sunday morning cause Redpit calls and asks where we stayin at...I said we still in da garage LOL

So we head out to go home, wow, blizzard fucked AC up, can't drive nowhere....but we end up driving to the Trop to wait it out and play some poker and possibly get a room there...

I'm doing ok sitting a lil over $400 now...Some dude from Philly is stuck over $1300 he kept tellin me, he is frustrated and it seems everytime he buys in for $100, it goes all in...he finally gives up and leaves the table...

Dude comes back with a lil over $300, but the max buy in is $300, so he sits back down to my left with that $300, he is hittin some pots to put him a lil over $450...im still sitting under $500 bucks now...and we get tangled in this hand...

I'm SB and 5 people limp in for $2 so the pot is now $10...

by this time, its a crowd around the table watching the action...its almost $1,000 in the pot now....and I'm thinkin i fucked up cause I ran into someone's straight

Whew...I got real lucky! So now off to the Trop tourney of 55 players cause they are short on dealers...

I end up makin 15th place to 2 horrible beats when I got all my money in the middle preflop with the best hand cause I know they were short stacked tryin to make moves....

January 13, 2006 - Whats Da Scoop?

Damn, Been a week since I got on here to update this...

Anyway, Pretty much been the same ole same ole, had my game, went to this game...up and down...but Did make it to AC on Sunday...

Makin our way to AC after my sunday game, we left around 4Am...was waitin on Big John, and we said fuck it, lets roll...Me, Kenny and Redpit bout to make it up to AC...Redpit stops at his place and then head up to AC, stop at the rest stop to sleep LOL bama said he could make it all they up LOL so we get gas and for some reason he lets his window down and it won't go back up now LOL shit is stuck, so we have to turn around and go home....we finally get home after some dude got killed on 96 just outside Laurel and we seen dude's leg in the middle of the highway cause it was blocked North Bound...so it boost redpit and this bama starts hittin 75-80 mph and passes the cop on the side and just be like fuck dat shit LOL crazy motha fucka, anyway, we get back home and Kenny calls Big John and he says Rock's bout to be at his house, they goin to AC now..boom...we on da way back...

Get to the Trop and head to the poker room...

I sit at the $2/$4 Omaha H/L w/Half Kill game

Sit for about 4 hours to break even look at the time, time to go hit the Showboat to play the tournament over there....

Get to the showboat and register for the tourney...while Im waitin, I'm watchin the 1/2 game and it looks weak, seat opens up, seen more bad plays and I say fuck that, lemme sit down...1 hour till tourney, I tripple up! I shouldn't have bought out, but I wanted to play the tourney so bad...anyway, it was a bad move on me, but I end up makin 28th out of 115 players...

So I make it back to the trop, im hungry...eat at Hooters and then sit back down at the $1/$2 Table...wow, what a run, snappin bamas off, I ended up havin a stack of $615 at one point, then got in a couple of hands I end up folding and end up cashin out $375...blown....but still profit...I sat with $150...

Well its friday today, so I'm havin my game tonight, and prolly go back to AC on Saturday for the day...we'll see.....

January 3, 2006 - Back To Reality - Happy New Years!

Whoa, went a whole week without postin here...Hmmm...Lets see...I left yall last Monday's game....New Years Week....

Actually went to Big Chris house cause he tried to get a game together....5 people, it was just Me, Kenny, Ryan and Big Chris...I busted Kenny...so we decided to just play us 3...money went back and forth, but I knew I would get all the money eventually...ended up busting Ryan while takin the majority of the money back, and you now I have a PSP Snagged it from Buddah with the money I won well I actually only payed $100 bucks from my money cause I won the rest to purchase it...Hmmm...did I need it? Nope, just wanted it cause its new...now I still need to get me my iPod Video joint....

On to Wednesday's $1/$2 NL Game...
Got there a lil late, full table, im on the wait list...when a seat finally opens up, more than 1 stand up, so we play 8 handed which I like better anyway, bought in for $150, ran it up to a lil over $400...got short handed, decided to play dealers choice $2/$4 Limit Dealers Choice with a Half Kill....Fun? Yup you betta believe it! Profit? Hell no...fucked off most of my chips and cash out for $100....Down $50 for the night, but hey, $50 bucks for food and a night of poker? I'll take any day....Still upset I donked off my chips though....Broke now though with a meatball in my pocket till Friday...shit, and I need more than $100 to throw a game...

At work now bout to get off, tryin to look busy today, but shit, I made over a Grand, why da fuck am I at work?????

December 27, 2005 - No Work Monday...Game On!

Good lawd! No work monday, I wanna play poker! Hmmmm...Lets start the game at 2 PM....Hmmm...Game filled up, 1 on the wait list...

2 PM is here, game on, free roll starts up....no wait, more folx wanna play...good lawd...more? Try 10 on the wait list!!!!!!

Anyway, game I thought would turn out to be a small friendly game...yeah right...This is my place....try again! Game didn't break till 6AM this morning..where am I? Sittin at work TIRED AS SHIT!!!! yippie!!! I got a 45 minute NAP before I had to go to work! what a joke, im bout to come up with somethin to get my ass home cause IM DEAD TIRED!

anyway, game was fuckin insane...for a $1/$2 NL game...There can't be almost 10K on the table

Lets see....Bill cashed out $1900, JesseY cashed out $1300, Joe broke even with $830 (30 profit) Rock cashing out close to $800, and the smaller cash outs of 300 here, 400 there, maybe even a 500 here and there, I made $1300 just runnin the game LOL did I play? hell to da no....game was crazy, too many big stacks specially Bill and for me to sit in the game with $300...SUICIDE!!!!

Well, Travis and Nelly's game is this Wednesday, so I'll be at that game hopefully gonna beat the shit outta that game 2 weeks in a row..but we shall see....we shall see......

December 25, 2005 - Merry Christmas!

No Poker tonight! Chillin wit Fam tonight...But let me catch yall up on the weekend.

Thursday Night, hit Cutty's game up...not the greatest game as everyone brags about...I'm convinced I have one of the top games in MD...Might not be as big stakes as other games, but for a 1/2 NL game...my game is viscious...anyway...Played a $115 NL Tournament....didn't do to good...so now im down $115...so Kenny is still playin in da tourney, so I decide to sit in the cash game with $150 bucks...its a dealers choice game and it seems like the game of choice that was popular was Omaha H/L 8 and a 7-card stud variation called "pitch" Stakes were $1/$2 Pot Limit capped at $50...Pitch is basically 7 card stud mixed with pineapple...you get dealt 4 cards, pitch one, and turn one over as in a regular 7 card stud game and the rest is played like stud...Cashed out $380...so for the night, I have a profit of $115 bucks...

Friday's game was crazy...wow...anyway, I finally get into the game and I drop $120...oh well...

I'm off from work tomorrow so I'll have a game at 2:00 PM...game is full so should make for a real good game! Hopefully I can make some more money!

December 22, 2005 - Stackem Up

Well alright!

Played at Noelle and Travis' game last night in College Park. It wasn't so crazy this week, but still alot of money on that table...It actually was a real good game if you ask me...Had Loosey Pete there who can tend to play over aggressive....Had the new AC guy there, and the regulars...

Started out with $180...Still owed them $150 from last Saturday, Told Nelly, I'll get ya at the end of the night cause I might need to go to the ATM but I'm going to win tonight so I'll get ya when I cash out...

Wasn't playing like a Donkey, played very well....had some good lay downs and reads....

Only 2 major hands that stick out to me cause they were both all in hands and cause of these 2 hands, put me over the top!

First hand was agains Loosey Pete...He came late, was rackin up chips....and luckily for me, he was chipped up when I got involved in this hand...I've got about $350 in front of me...Did well takin down medium and small pots, Semi bluffed a couple of drawing hands that I ended up takin down...my pre-flop betting is improving and i'm gettin that image as a tight player again...so its all workin out...anyway...I've got about $350 in front of me...I'm in late position...Preflop Bets:

Thats $121/hour! Can't beat that!!!!

Might play Cutty's $115 tournament out Crofton, we'll see...but right now I might just chill and wait till Friday's game to play!

Only played 2 games this weekend...

Had a good bit of players this weekend, game went till 12:00 PM Saturday, played 6 handed pretty much most of the morning. June left earlier than normal to protect his stack...cashed out with $1100...Nevin came late, ran his stack to $1100, Rock made him stay longer, Eddie and Val ended up comin down and Diggs walked in pretty early and gave some action....Nevin cashingout with about $1400, Rock shipped all his chips away, I pretty much broke even and got my buy in back...

I missed a big hand where I should of called I guess, but it was a good fold maybe, tell me what you think.....

Due to some folx being in Atlantic City this weekend, and some folx not showing up after locking a seat up, prevented my game from filling up this weekend...very pissed about it...looked like a long wait list, but didn't even fill up but folx kept comin through out the evening...made enough to pay June off, was stuck, but luckily I got back to almost even...so I didn't get hurt too much...

Wow...I kinda walked in there cocky, but didn't show it, Ryan suprised me when he got a little tricky with it...and I guess cause they think I was bluffing alot of hands, I stuck my whole stack in there with the best hand to get sucked out on...I dropped some money so I don't know what happened, I did bluff some hands and stole some pots, but when I got called with my whole stack in the middle, I was clearly ahead and got sucked out on...bad weekend...broke as a joke too...

December 7, 2005 - Party Poker

Yeah, party poker gave me $15 bucks for free the other day, so been playin 3-table SnG's ($5+$1) and I've ran my stack to $50 bucks! if I can run it to $100, gonna go sit in a $2/$4 game and see if I can do well in there!

Prolly go to Travis and Noelle's game tonight but aint been doing nothin too much the week...just playin online cause I've been enjoying playing with free money!

December 5, 2005 - Trump Classic Tournament

WOW, what an experience...it was only event # 5 or 6...nothin real big cause the WSOP Circuit is going on at the Showboat...

So we leave Saturday night and it starts snowing...got to the AC Expressway and can't even see the street snowing so hard LOL we finally make it to AC and decide lets go to one of the new poker rooms...so we hit Caesars Poker Room...Its small, its on the main casino floor and its on an elevated type arena...Dealers don't seem that experienced...but they did ok...The players all suck though...I played $3/$6 Limit and did OK for the time I was there...I ended up leaving June and Ian at Caesars cause I wanted to go play the Trump Classic at the Taj...so I dipped and headed down to the Taj..

I get there, pay my buy in and got a free buffet ticket for breakfast...sweete cause I was extra hungry at this time!

Got myself in the mood, said I was gonna play solid poker during this tournament...so here is the recap...

I was happy with my plat at first, but after I moved tables and didn't catch cards...I dont know what happened, I think I couldn't gotten in the money if I didn't make those 2 crucial mistakes...nut oh well, still paying tuition in late tourney play...hopefully I'll get another chance to go to AC and play in another big tourney...but as for the Taj...the daily tourney should be fixed to allow room to play poker and not a crap shoot...

Skipped Travis and Noelle's game this week...was very tired from the beginning of the week and decided to get some rest cause I know my friday games be goin...

Got in a hand with Nick, seemed like he was pretty upset, but not really...I don't think it was a good play but hey...I was under the gun and raised to $12, Bessman in EP1 re-raised it $25 more on top...folds to Nick and he pushes all in...folds back to me, I call...Bessman calls...3 way action, I got about $140 in front of me, Bessman has a little bit more than me and Nick has about $400 in front of him LOL

YES! Got a good $2/$4 Limit Omaha H/L 8 game together last night! full table, good food, great time! playing limit can hurt you as bad and have as big as swings as NL poker, man o man...

Anyway, was a roller coaster cause im a donkey that doesn't know how to fold hands LOL chase too easy, but I swear next time I'll play correctly and right, I even called hands I knew I was beat I'm a fish...

Anyway, still was a rack of loot being thrown around last night...game went till 4:00 AM this mornin and Im so extra tired! LOL Stuck $96 bucks from last night, now I must update my tracker...wasn't a bad month this month except took some big swings...damn I suck at poker...

I say I aint going to Travis and Noelle's game tonight, but I bet I do LOL Hopefully I can fall asleep as soon as I get home so I don't have to go! LOL

I did it again...played like a donkey LOL, bullying, bought in for $100 and cashed out $290...not as big as the last game, but this game was alot bigger and Kenny and Rock showed up so they had some of the money as well, couldn't have all the dead money myself....Pretty much everyone that plays in my $1/$2 game do well up here, and those that don't, well....DEAD MONEY

I hope they still don't mind me playin up there with them...I think I might be a lil too aggressive, but then again, when I let up a lil bit and played a lil more friendly, I lose hands Just cause its .50/1 doesn't mean it don't play like 1/2 specially when Rock and Kenny up there...Maybe next Monday, everyone learns to buy in more than just 20 and rebuying for 20 with 1 big stack, now that rock and kenny come up there, its 3 big stacks starting out off tops...well...not really, but Its just too ez of a game to beat!

The Club House - Final Game till Spring

I cashed out the clubhouse last Wednesday $210 up...Which was sweeet, played the whole evening, but decided to leave around 4 when I started gettin tired plus had to be up for Thanksgiving...so I wasn't tryin to play all night, was down, took a couple of suck outs to get my money back and more! Usuall Wednesday Night, cept for the fact its the last club house event for the winter, club house will resume in Spring, Can't wait, gonna hold a big Tourney for the re-opening of the club house!

My Friday Night Game

Wait list that lasted till 5AM and we started earlier than normal!!! Got to break in my new table too! It was insane Friday night, way too many people, Didn't even get into the game till late, and pretty much broke even..No more 2 table games so wait list was kinda off the hook this past Friday..Great turn out, and had a good time! Anne hit the high hand bonus with a 7-high staright flush!

Saturday at the S.H.O.P

Insane, didn't make the tournament, ended up gettin out there late and sat and played $1/$2 NLHE...Dropped $300 which sucked, didn't play nomore after that, Kenny and Rock was ready to leave anyway...

November 23, 2005 - Robbery

I just wanted to post about some bad news I heard about a home game in VA...

Motha fuckaz robbed dat shit...dats some cruddy shit, I only met that dude once that held it, but I always get invited to his games and tournaments...but 2 bamas came up in there at gunpoint and robbed the shit outta that game, walked out with 5 grand, took bamas cell phones and car keys...dats some bullshit...

Just gave me a wake up call about my games and the security measures I will have to take from now on...

Cuttin the game to those I know and nomore new blood unless someone from my own game can vouch for this new person...

Just a shame that 2 bamas can ruin a good game cause he is not throwin nomore games at all...heard he had a real good game also...

November 22, 2005 - Whew, Home Games and AC

FRIDAY NIGHT AT E'S PLACE

Game on as usual...lots of players and a rack of fish came by, youngins at that I didn't expect there...Thats the last time I let youngins in there, but they came with Bessman and I thought they was legit players wanting to play some poker, so I opened up the 2nd table for them to buy in only $40???? WTF...never again, but the Rake got they asses LOL, They did steal a deck of cards from me, but ya know what? Youngin left his wallet LOL Karma like a motha fucka..but played till about 11:00 AM cause I had to go pick up a new table!

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

No poker action, just ended up meeting up with some new folx, bought a sweet ass table with a dealers spot, money drop box, chip tray for the dealer, so Kenny should be cised this weekend to deal, if he is in AC, I will be dealing my game! I just can't wait to play on the new table!!!!!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Wow it was good to get some decent sleep! So I wake up to go to Nick's game, he also got a table with me, so I really got to play on it cause I know I wouldn't be able to play on it on Friday, so it was a good thing, but yeah, we played till 9:00PM, game got short but we didn't feel like Not playing so we ended up riding to Atlantic City that night LOL We got there at 2:30 AM

MONDAY

The Borgata..wow, I love it there, me and the waitress at the Borg just kept flirting with each other...man this chick is SEXY...Diana..spanish chick...man all Ima say is I tipped her about a good 50-75 for her shift LOL I gave her my number so hopefully she give me a call...ended up leaving the Borgata $400 stuck and headed to the Taj to play a tournament

Busted out the early tourney in the 5th level at like 49th place...
Then played a SnG busted in 5th
Then played the afternoon and after running over my table, after the break, I get hit up and the dealer made a mistake to give my flush possibility away and I end up busting out 88 vs QQ

So im down this weekend but I plan to make it back on Friday since im off work, im starting the game earlier and yeah, ima make me some money!!!!!

November 17, 2005 - Crushing Blow

Playing Greg's Tournament tonight and I need to do some damage cause apparently, he has been keeping a spreadsheet of winnings at his house and im at the bottom of the list cause I can't take his tournaments seriously cause they are only $25 bucks, but I will take this down cause I need to make my $300 back and I need to get out of his negative number on his spreadsheet, so I have somethin to play for more that just the money!

November 16, 2005 - Catch Up

Haven't posted in a while...so lets get caught up

Friday, I got sick at work and went to the emergency room. I didn't stay LOL I said I was alright so I can get home in time to run my game..and whoa i was HURTIN LOL Pretty much was hurtin the whole weekend!

Game cut out short anyway so I finally got to see what its like to sleep Friday and wake up Saturday to do shit! Ended up takin my daughter to her cousins birthday party at the Blair Mansion! That was fun

Saturday Night ended up going over Pops house to finally see the new place! Great new table! Makes me want to get a new table now...I think I will LOL
Ended up placing 7th in the $110 Buy in tournament...so sat at the cash game, then a dealers choice game ended up starting so I sat at that table and played...ended up breaking even...

Sunday night, played over Big Chris house, started late, didn't even think we would play, but I bought in for 60, ended up cleaning the table except for about 17 bucks that Robo had and the tips Chris cleared...but since the Vikes won and the Skins lost, I took 20 of his tips LOL Anyway, cashed out the game for $390!

I'm keeping track of all my games now on cardplayer.com and I'll post them periodically so you can see how im doing, but as for now, im up $937 bucks for the month of November!

Playing in Noelle's and Travis' game tonight so wish me luck! Been hurtin to play!

November 10, 2005 - Game on Last Night

OK...Travis and Noelle are still in AC and last night was supposed to be there game at the club house...no show, didn't hear from them, so I ran the game

Nice Turn out with alot of action...more action than I have seen in a while...couldn't even fit all the money in my pocket

I felt bad for kinda breakin up the game at the beginning...well I gave Tammy time cause she was taking ridiculously long on a hand to make a decision and she caught feelings...The past 3 weeks numerous players have told me that I need to make Tammy make her decisions quicker...I mean this one hand was almost 10 minutes for her to decide..she slowed up the game massively...some players waited, stood up, smoked a cigarette, came back and still had to wait...so I said somethin and she caught feelings and cashed out...so Her and Big John cashed out a total of $1400 together...(pretty much 700 each.) I felt bad, but everyone said I was right to do so...so I will have to make it clear that abusing the time next cash game will result in a penalty. I might even pull her to the side and explain to her not to take it personally, but it ruins the game and slows the game up massively...what do you think????

Anyway, Table filled up pretty quickly...I ended up dealing the majority of the night cause Kenny wanted to play for a change and of course, fucked his money off...

I made decent money and ended up sitting at first with $117 bucks to fuck it off to Big John...I had K7spades
