Tuesday Night Poker at the S.H.O.P

Went to Pops place to play a $90+$10 2-table tourney....20 players, top 4 got paid...Went up with Big John, Kenny, and Rock...For some reason, I just didn't play like I'm supposed to in the tourney, I played maybe 80% of my hands LOL...Raising with a sooted RedPit (36) and junk cards like that...You know I got snapped off in 13th place...I think its cause I was ready to deal the cash game....

Anyway, I busted out with Q3o on the button...

Basically saying, don't slow play 2 pair cause it might look like a powerful hand, its still vulnarable to be beat...so basically get your money in there while you are ahead and if you get bad beat, dust it off LOL At least that way you have every right to call that player a donkey unless you flopped a set on yo ass LOL

Anyway, cash game went till 2AM when Pops cut it off...crazy, silly game...Crazy Gypsy Pete and Rock were the big winners last night, Dealt Steve KTo and flop came KTK for kings full, turn was a J River is irrelevant....Anyway, Other guy was holding KJ and got all his money in the middle....dagger for Steve...

Anyway, I dealt the cash game, made my tourney buy in back plus a lil more extra...

Thinkin bout heading up to AC this weekend again, since I think I'll be starting work for a temp agency till something permanent comes along...so Might as well take a trip to AC before I get back into the 9-5 world again....

Went to Big Chris house last night to play $1-$1 NL...Had a good crowd this time around..and it was actually some money floatin around the table! Tonight I was blessed to have the company of Jizzle, Kenny, Ross, Joel, Big Chris, Derrek, Buddah and Dennis.

Lots of rebuys early...only sat with $60 and easily ran it up to over $120...Kenny was drinkin Icehouse so he was a lil more talkative than normal...talkin alot of trash cause he knows he can easily intimidate everyone else at the table...raising preflop to $17 with junk and good hands, mixin it up a lil bit, but I know he is only doing that to put everyone on tilt...I just sit back and wait for premium hands to snap him off...He knew what he was doing, he would only do that if he was able to act before me, if I entered the pot before him, he would only limp in for the $1...

I notice this, but I'm still tryin to trap him because he is just playin semi drunk poker and acting wreckless...so I tried to get cute when I'm UTG to see KK in the hole...I limp in for $1 (Silly me) and it's called around with probably like 2 folds...

I called so quick because of a previous hand me and Joel was involved with when he called a raise from me with some junk cards and thats just how Joel plays, suited cards, 1-gappers, connecting cards and any pairs doesn't matter what position, he will call any raise...so I'm thinkin im good...

Showboat - Final Table!

Just got home from AC...its late...

Anyway, after coming home from Goodfellas game Saturday Night, I wanted to catch up with everyone in AC...Called around, even tried to rent my sisters car to head up to AC Saturday night...Had to wait till mornin when the Greyhound leaves...so get up early, text Keenan and Jay to make sure I'll have a ride home...It all worked out till Jay texts me and says he's busted broke, I told him im on the way up, to just go sit in the $1-$2 NL table and get that money back and I would buy him in for the Tourney at the Showboat...I didn't have that much money going up cause I was only takin the money I won from Goodfellas place...So the plan was to sit in on the $1-$2 NL game then whatever I make or break, I would play the $50 Tourney at the Showboat...Why? Cause its fun, its been a while since I played a tourney in the casino and over-all, I just had a good feeling bout going up to AC...so I stayed on my game plan...

Stopped by the Trop to see Travis and all them, Noelle and Keenan were sleep in the room and Travis was sittin in on the $2-$5 NL table...soon as I walked in there and see a hand he was involved in, it was straight Donkeyness...Guy re-raised all in when Travis bet $50 bucks when 5 players check to him...Board I believe was 7J4 rainbow, somethin stupid like that...but for Travis to call was only $38 bucks and he was betting on his 79...somethin around that area....Guy had AKo to hit runner-runner broadway...sick...So I go grab lunch and hook up with Jay at Caesars...Wow at the Boardwalk...Its changed so much since last I've seen the boardwalk...Whenever we go to AC, We never walk the Boardwalk, just either taxi it casino to casino or just drive....Normally I would've taxi'ed it to Caesars from the Trop, but decided to walk the boardwalk to enjoy the sunny day...Seen a Putt-Putt golf on the boardwalk, the shopping mall that used to be the ship has been renovated...there is a Rainforest Cafe and alot of new Bars/Restaurant on the boardwalk...It was nice!

Anyway, I end up sittin at Caesars on a different table from Jay..I sit with $200 and run it up close to $500 when Jay comes in and says, its 5:15, lets head to Showboat...that is what time I said to get me...Now normally I would've just stayed there and kept playin till I'm broke, but I have been gettin better and setting myself a time and getting up when I say I will to avoid going broke..I know how I am when it comes to playing...I need more discipline...and its proving to be working especially when I can walk away with profit! So I get to freeroll the tourney at the Showboat!

Head to the Showboat and come to find out the tourney don't start till 7PM...damn...Buffet time! I hadn't eatin since the evening before, no breakfast, just went straigt up to AC...Buffet hit the spot...Tourney time....

I played real well through out the tourney...early in the tourney, I run my stack to about 14K and get KJo in late position Blinds are at 100-200, 2 limpers, I end up callin and folds around the rest of the table, SB and BB both call and check...5 players...im last to act...Flop is KJ7 rainbow...I bet out $850 folds to Big Girl...She looks at me, thinks, calls....

so gay...she goes all in...I muck...flip over the KJ, she shows me QQ

I somehow get my stack back up and become Table Captain after someone raised, I went all in, 2 callers with another All in...I have JJ

My JJ holds up and im sittin pretty...

Make it past the 2 breaks, we get down to 11 and decide to cut the bubble in for the buy in back, we all put up $5 bucks for whoever bubbles...Next think ya know, I get to the Final Table with about $40K with blinds at $2000-$4000...one guys has way over $150K and he couldn't manage his chip stack...he doubled up almost everyone at the table...I end up pushing with a "Sooted-Scooter" after the blinds ate me up a lil bit to double up and brought me back to about $40K again...guy called me with TT and I sucked out a K on the river....

I end up having $38K left and look down to 66....I kinda beat myself up cause I think I could've played it different to move up a couple spots, but a normal raise would be more than 3/4 of my stack at blinds at $2000-$4000 so I just push...AKo calls me and he spikes an A on the turn to put me out in 7th place...

Yeah, the tourney was a small one...93 players with a $50 Buy in...actually $40+$10 with 1st place payin $1300 bucks....

7th place was only $186 bucks..but hey, it was fun as shit gettin there....it felt good to make a final table and have folx watchin the play from the side lines...and I get to add it to my resume...so it had more value than just the $186! Seriously...makin the final table felt good!

I'm not used to playing with blinds that big especially in home games..having that many chips...but it throws me off cause they color up the chips and it seems like you have NO CHIPS...especially watchin TV and they have HUGE stacks in front of them...Guess it can't get like that with about 100 players anyway...I definately need more experience with late tournament play, but I think I played pretty well the whole day! Played well in the tourney also...So I don't really think it was a waste of time to play that long to only win $186..I can win that in 1-3 hands in a $1-$2 NL game, but the accomplishment factor definately is worth the time and its good practice!

If you can't tell, its my first Final Table in a live tournament...and on the ride home and thinkin about those pocket 6's and only gettin 7th place...its a disappointment also..I could've played hands alot differently throught the tourney which would've had me sittin a little more pretty with chips at the final table....but hey, trial and error is the key...Final table is fine and dandy...feels good, but I bet 1st place would've felt better....so next time, I'm not just gonna shoot for the Final table, cause that was my mind set, make the final table at the very least...this time, It's a must to take it down!

It sure is alot different than when I play online and winning those Multi Table Tourneys or even makin all those final tables...Live is WAY BETTER!!!!!!

Short and Simple....

No game Friday...Played with the fellas Friday Night at Big Chris house...Talked them into playin at the very least $1-$1 NL...$.50 chips are just stupid...Kenny was good for dropping $150 in the game...Bought in for for $60, cashed out $150...ended up playin a $30 6-player tourney...lost...mis-played AKo to Kenny, thinkin I had the Ad and tryin to get Kenny to fold on a Qhigh board all diamonds...stupid game anyway....

Want to go to AC but only have $160 to my name, I decide to not go....

End up goin to Goodfellas game in Odenton, MD....Went up with Scooter...he laughed at me cause I was only goin up with $160...anyway, bought in for $120, Scooter busts out...says lets go...stack was up to $409, gotta go, I could've hitched a ride with Jimbo or River Ed cause he was on his way up...but decided it was best to leave with some money in my pocket for the week...got the AC itch though...but think it should pass by tomorrow...made plans to Greyhound it up in the morning, but might not foreal....who knows...set my alarm just in case....

Anyway...As you all know I am currently looking for a new gig...I had an interview yesterday with A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. I met with the Vice President of Office and Retail Management, Ms. Carol L. Holder. Very nice lady...I believe the interview went very well...started off with her asking if I had a hard time finding the building...I kinda did, but I lied but I noticed this was a building my old job used to manage at Foulger-Pratt Companies. She was like, Oh yeah, that is right and started speaking about the property manager for that building..which was not in my portfolio, but I knew exactly who she was talkin bout and she wanted to clown him but decided it was best not too...we laughed about it though...Anyway, it wasn't much of an interview, she pretty much asked if my commute was hard being that I lived kinda far...told her, nope...actually it was a GREAT commute!! I mean, I ride one end of the Metro on the Orange Line to the other! I get a seat the whole way and I get to watch everyone rush to get a seat, stand or whateva...But you ask why is it a great commute? Well its 1 hour ride, like my last job, but I don't fight traffic, I don't drive, and I can't miss my stop when I fall asleep because its at the end of the line! How can you argue the fact I get to see the BEUTIFUL Women of DC in the summer time with their summer time business suits on..lookin all good...I might even find me a new girlfriend this summer...well find me a new friend to kick it with between playing poker! I get to stay fresh now, nice suits, fresh cut evey week again...man if I land this job, I will be so damn happy and its been a while since I have been a happy person...The benefits are off the hook except the Dental Plan...FLEX TIME!! What!!!! I can NEVER be late! lol Anyway, like I said it wasn't much of an interview, but gettin to know me, she was convinced that I have the qualifications and experience she is exactly looking for, the job description was pretty much my resume! She does have to meet with 2 other people this week, but I believe that I am the closest person she is looking for, being that she said that, but not in those words...Lets just cross our fingers and hope I can land this gig! Its funny...Ree asked my how my interview went and all I said was "it was aight" that was it....I don't need to speak more than I need to her...for what? Fuck that.....

Anyway, If I do get this gig, that means I don't have to beg to be someone's dealer and can actually play poker hopefully not Heinz poker cause I can actually put some money to the side to start my bankroll back up again!

It was tough to wake up yesterday...I like sleepin in till yall almost done with the work day, I like being up in the middle of the night when all is asleep...but I need to get my self together and get gig in order!

That was the whole story last night at Steve's Fish Tank...

Steve let me deal his game last night cause I need to re-build my bank roll...and cause im Broke as a Joke. We get to Steve's game at 4:30 PM Sunday afternoon with 6 players there playing...Other folx on the way there, and game fills up about 1 hour later with a wait list of 2...Big John and Rock. I think there was a higher-limit game going on that evening also, that a couple of folx had planned to attend already. Paige gets up from the game, no later than that, 2 others get up from the game, and Ryan and Cynthia call that they will be leavin in an hour...Travis and Noelle get there and Ryan and Cynthia leaves in a couple of rotations...Devon calls and says he is about to arrive with a friend...This is where the action begins....

His name is Erick, or you can call him E or you can call him R or you can call him Rick as he kept sayin and asking what the blinds are every 20 minutes...If you don't know, this guy is DRUNK as hell...he reaked liquor...sweats liquor...and talks like the liquor got the best of him! LOL

Buys in for $85 bucks...Ship it...gets his stack takin...I liked him cause he was tippin $5 bucks a hand he won...LOL

His boy Devon rebuy's him back in for a Ball...but he would make alot of crazy plays that he would push his stack in the middle...he did it on Travis...Travis doubles him up...next thing, Noelle doubles him up, then he is playin aggressive drunk poker and ends up runnin his stack to a good $650 maybe?

Gets around 11 and Pops is ready to go, Game looks like it will break, Travis decides to play Heinz poker early...Pops is already playing Heinz poker from earlier hands...gettin sucked out on...so nobody is tryin to let the kid go...we end up gettin him to play till he loses his stack....He was funny as hell...well..anybody drunk as he was is funny to me...till he got a lil racist...then he just left a bitter taste the rest of the evening and I couldnt wait for his stack to go...so im tryin to give hands to everyone especially those that are playing Heinz Poker...the later it got for Erick, the more his chips started to dwindle...they chipped him down to about $282 and then it happens....

Everyone enters the pot for $20 I believe because Erick bumps it up to $20 bucks...

checks around to Pops but Erick flat bangs it for the $262 he has left...Pops is pondering what to do...he is like "really" except Erick banged it out of turn...I tell him to hold on...its Pop's go...Pops is thinkin about callin...couple minutes later..."Call" Wow...Steve wanted to call...He mentions he has the Ace of spade and folds...I bind Erick's all in...Pops flips over 55 for a set of 5s and Erick has J9o with the 9 being a Spade...I get the pot right and I tell Pops straight up sorry Pops before I pull the turn out...Turn comes a Ks...I know the feeling of that...it sucks that Erick is about to get this monster pot...to lose this hand is heart breaking....But pops is family...I can't let this guy scoop this pot....River 8d....BOAT!!! Pops claps...tips me $30 bucks...this guy Erick is sick...he leaves....we cash out and call it a night.....

NEVER LET THE SUCKER LEAVE WITH ALL THE CHIPS is the saying...and this is one example of not letting the sucka leave....Pops beat Heinz poker today....I dealt for 14 hours straight with 1 break, didn't get a chance to eat lunch/dinner on Sunday...I did really well in tips...I'm happy, I'm super tired right now cause I only got 5 hour sleep....I can't wait to get my job man....I'd much rather play than deal, but dealing is guaranteed a win for me in my book...As erick would say, I can read that in chapter 6 page 179 from the "super series" book LOL

Head Hunter at da S.H.O.P.

So yeah, Travis, Keenan and Noelle pick me up to head down to Pops place to play a $70+$10+$20HH tourney...da hell is the 70/10/20? If you need to be schooled one time...70 in the prize pool, 10 to the house, 20 under your stack for the Head Hunter.

Anyway, You know it....Bubble Boy E exits the show right before the money...Only 15 players today with top 3 paying out....I got a hot 4th place....Was doing fine in the tournament...keeping up with the blinds...actually folx was gettin knocked out fast really, but then again, it was only 15 players playing...get to the final table with a decent chip stack with blinds at 100-200...couple hands in, Noelle knocks out FreakinRican...then right next to him was Kevin, who got knocked out by Noelle couple hands later, Freakin was directly to my left and Kevin was directly to Freakin's Left, so they was lining up to get knocked out....Anyway, we get down to 5 and I look down to JJ in the Cut Off...UTG folds, Neil raises to 600, I call, folds around...heads up...blinds are still 100-200...(I thought about re-raising here, but decided to just smooth call to see if I can tag a Jack on the flop or give him the benefit of the doubt and just throw my hand away if an A or K hit the flop if he bets out enough)...can you tell its a disaster already? lol

Dan knocks me out...he can't decide if he wants to push or raise, or he was just hollywoodin' everyone....he ends up pushin all in, I look down to 66..."I call" he flips 88...eh...nice hand....lemme tag a 6 one time dealer!

Flop is like KhTs4d somethin stupid like that, Turn is still a blank heart, and the River for shits and giggles, not that he needed it either, tags an 8...."Burst" the bubble has been popped...."nelly, I'll jump in the box at the top of the hour" Blah Blah.....stupid tourney....

Dan takes 3rd, Diggs and Neil chop 1st and 2nd...

Game is bout to break, Nelly gets the deal for the last half hour of the game, so I decide to jump in the game for $85 bucks...Stick $100 in my pocket...

lost a couple dollars seeing the flop cheap...Im in EP and look down to AKo...I limp in see the flop, tag a K...Bet, folds to Travis, he raises me, I dont have enough to fold or just call, I move all in, he calls, flip AK, he mucks when the river hits, ships it...double up....OK...not bad....

On the button...limps to me, i open up the pot for $7, folds to Travis, he sticks $20 more, folds back to me, I call...Flop, I tag a K again...checks to me, I bet out $17, he raises me to somethin like $60, man I can't fold again...All in, he calls....river brings an Ace, 2-perrrrr....ships it again....game breaks...I pay Travis back the $200 he lent me for Pops tourney last Tuesday and the Hundred from Pops last cash game, and cash out $20 less I made in tips...Still a good night...made some money...good fun night, wasn't as packed as normal..still fun was had by all....

Travis has another $12 night after climbing out a $1100 board and after collecting $300 in debt from me and JackJr. At leasts its not a loss right? $1.09/hour isn't bad...lol, man, he played Ketchup tonight, and I must say, he can play the hell out of Ketchup...I know the Dude named Wes that was playin tonight had a rack of chips in front of him...almost $1k...well more or less like $800, but Travis took alot of that back! From now on...if you hear me say "I was playin Heinz Poker" that means I'm playin Ketchup!

When I saw everyone last night, It seems that I got my story mixed up with Heinz Poker...What I saw was Travis cashin up his chips with Pops paying out $12 bucks, I was wrong, That did happen, but that was not the case...all in all, it wasn't a $12 night for Travis and Heinz poker got the best of him...guess he got the thick ketchup and couldn't crawl out the thickness of the ketchup...I don't know what happened, but being that I know what its like to be stuck like that, I'll leave it as Heinz poker got the best of his this evening.....

Rant and Rave

OK, First off, my game didn't go for tonight...which is why im in the house....I don't know...I think I'm just going to give up having games till I can really host a sweet game again in the comfort of my own spot...It just sucks to have a game goin for a couple of weeks then no games...man I don't know what it is...Actually I do...but I'll keep the bitterness to myself...

I could've gone out and seen Junkyard Band tonight....but....I refuse to drive in the city not right....what I mean not right? my tags aint right....which blows even more...I can't go where and when i want too....this sucks so bad....

My PSP is broke too...My power switch broke...can't turn it on/off anymore...emailed them about getting it repaired, but I have to call them and speak to them directly...why can't they just give me a price and and where to send it too? Just so stupid....

I could go to a game tonight, Big Slicksters game and Big John offered to give me $100 to go and play with him up there...and he would drive...I refused because of principle...

Anyway, sittin around flippin channels on Cable watchin movies since I fell asleep around 6PM and woke up at 10PM now im just up...

This shit sucks so bad....at least im smaked...hungry too...wonder what i can munch on.......

The Wheaton Poker Room

Went to Bert's game last night, Met him from Steve's Aquarium...good guy...Philipino like me...anyway, He is starting his game back up since the robbery of his game ....Had a decent turn out...seen some faces sit down, then go home in under an hour....this game is sick...anyway, didn't play...just dealt the game this time around...they took care of me...it was good...This was the most "Asian" game ever...So you know the action got crazy!

All I know is what I was dealing out was SICK...Suck outs after Suck outs after Suck outs...I mean, these guys were gettin there money in the middle with the best hand to get there feelings hurt to a perfect - perfect Turn and River...OUCH. I feel the pain when I deal it out, but then it goes away when I get tipped for them hittin! :o)

Everyone had a good time though...started out late, went till about 2AM...Bert was nice enough to bring me back home...Thought Rock was comin out so I would've had a ride back, but I just asked him to call a cab for me, shit, the tip money was worth comin out there to catch a cab...no biggie...but he still took me home so we can rap about games and shit...He probably have me and Noelle switchin up weeks to deal or whateva...but I'm down wit it....

Anyway, weekend is here...looks like my game is lookin grim, simple fact I have 5 players for tonights game...sucks, cause I am lookin forward to havin a game tonight, but I networked a lil bit, so we will have some new faces to the Friday Night Game, Like Bert, I have to re-build what the Robbers destroyed...fuck it, new year, new game...alot of competition now a days, and the better players want to go to these other games where there are more fish than good poker players...that's one thing alot of folx agreed on was that my game was a tough game to beat...I like that fact, but then again...I need to bring in more fish to feed my shark buddies....my folx are gettin hungry so I'm going to spend some time gettin some "fish-feed" to this game!

Off to the S.H.O.P to play deal the tourney and cash game, then off to Steve's game to deal his game also...

I have a sweet job interview with A.J. Dowskin and Associates this Tuesday, so hopefully I can land a new job there...

That'll be whats up...so I need to make a day trip to AC during the week...just need to figure out how I can schedule that with Cheyenne going to the baby sitter..then maybe have Trina bring her home when Ree gets home...I don't know.....I just wanna go up during the day instead of the weekend....I kinda wanna play a tourney at the Borgata and probably the evening daily at the Taj Mahal.

I'm not sure if I would've called that bet, but I'm pretty sure Doyle was sick when he flipped his cards over...Even if I'm jizzled, I wouldn't make that play there...maybe thats me, maybe thats why I don't win Tournaments, maybe thats why I do suck...

S.H.O.P Tourney

Went to Pops' S.H.O.P for a $90+$10 tourney at his house...He brought in a good 25 players...lots from Big Syd's Old circuit and of course the heard from MD-Poker.

He didn't expect that many players...so he called me and asked me for a table...YES, I can bring the Black Jack/Poker table that I got from Keenan that has been sittin in my hallway since the destruction of my game.

Went up with JackJr. and Kenny. Funny ass ride it was! Seen these 2 hoes in the car that wanted to drive beside us...so kenny puts the window down and JackJr honks the horn and they honk back laughin..so Kenny puts his phone out to get them to sign they number to him...but they step on the gas and pull in front of JackJr and stick they phone out the sun roof...Next thing you know, kenny says, pull up to them...Ima showem' my titty...maybe she'll do the same back LOLOL Man, this bama LOL....JackJr procedes to step on the gas on BW Parkway...gets next to them, Kenny lifts his shirt, sticks his chest out the window and flashes the broads on the road...I aint laughed so hard in my life...they pull up as we are pullin off the highway to get to Pops place and we see them laughin hard as shit also LOL

So we get to the S.H.O.P. get the game going about 15 minutes after we get there...nice prize pool, payin out 4 places with 1st gettin a good $1100 and some change...

I make it maybe to 13th place or so....gettin blinded out most of the game, even the cards I'm mucking are not hitting the board...just bad run of cards...double up through Lance with Pocket 9s he raised, I push, folds to him, he thinks....folds..puts me on a big Ace....He must of had mid pair maybe? AK? I don't know...anyway, good fold LOL

Then Travis gets in the game with dude from Carmax...when dude pushes on the flop on a flush draw and sucks out on Travis. He is mad foreal LOL...Carmax says somethin like, "My hands are all sweaty or trembling" or somethin like that...when Travis says yeah, that can happen when you suck out on big hands...LOL Yeah, I know he is steamin a lil bit now....and then I look down to Pocket 9's again....I'm in mid position and decide to open it up with a 3x raise to $1500...folds to travis as he says "All in"....folds to me...I know this bama is just doing this cause he is steaming...I know im good..."How much more man" bout another $1600 give or take...I have him covered leavin me with a good $1900..."fuckin shit..I call"

WSOP Qualifier for Event #2

MD-Poker is promoting a seat give-away on Absolute Poker.

In order to qualify, you had to be one of the top 27 players with raked hands in February and March. I got in for the February raked hands...

Last night was the first MTT Qualifier. Top 4 get in the final table which is a SnG.

So this Sunday, I'll be playing the final SnG for a seat in the 2006 World Series Of Poker Event #2



Other than that, last night was rough...

Played in some tourneys on Party Poker and didnt even cash...made a final table twice last night...1 for a seat in the $1,000,000 Guaranteed tourney...Seats are worth $620...top 2 made it out of a field of 180...I got 8th place...

Played a $33 NL MTT on Party Poker also...was only 60 players and top 8 got paid...im out in 9th place...I bubbled....was doing real well when a guy pushes when we are down to 11 with KJo and I call with TT and he tags his J on the flop, then his K on the river....I wasn't too happy with that...

Played a couple of SnG's and did ok...

Looks like I'll be in the house or go to Big chris house on Sunday and play these tournies out...I got 2 to play on Sunday

Party Poker Caddy Qualifier - 25th Place.

Got in the main event through the $11 10K Guaranteed satelite tourney...Wow, I didn't think I would last this long..I told Cheyenne that I would take her to the Carnival this evening...Its 8:30 and I'm very short stacked, I tried to donk off my chips, but with nice hands and kept doubling up! Next thing I know, its 9:10PM and I'm still in the tourney with 2 to go before the money and I got about 10K in chips, I don't wanna go cause its $2,400 for 1st place...I pretty much cheated myself out of some good money...It's late, I need to take Cheyenne up the street to the Carnival so I decide, Let Ree just push with any pairs...but she be havin attitudes so fuck that, I just say I'll post and fold...and we'll see how far I get...I come home, tourney still going on...and I make 25th Place..God damn I could've done so well had I got to play....anyway, I make $50 bucks playing...An added bonus is a seat in the Caddy Main event on Sunday, April 23, 2006...The only way to get in this tourney is through the Daily satellite tourneys...Its easy, so go for it!

The S.H.O.P - Tuesday Night Poker

Pops decided to have a Tuesday night game for the folx that look for a game during the week...Not too long ago, when games were not such a risk and we didn't really have to worry about if bamas is outside with sawed off shot guns and big ass desert eagles waitin to stick the game up at its peak...you could find a game anywhere around here...EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK...

Monday would usually be MD-Poker league night, My boy Big Chris usually has a $.50-$1 NL game at his house, just a friendly game, usually just the crew.

Tuesday Night would be Big Syd's circuit tournament going back and forth from Big Syd's Place, Scotts, or ScottyA's place...Those usually were 3 table tournies with buy ins between $50-$100 then as players bust out there would be a $1-$2 NL game.

Wednesday would be Travis' and Noelle's games that started in Takoma Park, then moved to the club house, then College Park.

Thursday would be UAEGreg's tournament. It was a smaller buy in tourney, but always alot of players, average turn out was 33 players with a $25 buy in and then as players bust out, he had a $.50-$1 NL game..

Friday, of course was my game!

Saturday was Pop's game, but this was every other Saturday, so on the off Saturdays, it would be Travis' and Noelle's PL-R.O.E game...that was Round Of Each (Omaha and Holdem) Pot limit...game was sick...

Sundays I would have a game sometimes, or a Singe Table Tourney or just a friendly $.50-$1 game...

As you can see, there were games everyday of the week, the games I just mentioned were the ones I frequent, but there were still more games out there...But this was before the robbery of my game (March 1, 2006 post)...yeah we heard of the robberies already goin down in VA, some in MD..but we just never thought it would happen to us....but it did, it shook alot of people up, and nobody was going to games anymore...

Slowly but surely, we are all falling back into the rythem of games again, and Pops took the step into the weekday thing again...He had a decent turn out tonight, game went till 2:30AM, but I believe it could've went all night if Pops didn't have to go to work in the morning...

I was in the box the whole night...Right now, I don't have the Bankroll to be playing, I need to rebuild and have a couple of rebuys to begin playing again...I did pretty well in tips, but I can say the guys/ladies we play with are generous with tips!

Some crazy hands tonight! Couple rebuys here and there....nothin real big...just like any normal $1-$2 game here...all the regulars was present and of course it was a good game and lots of fun for everyone!

Brian is having a "farewell" game at his home Wednesday night, they will be playing $.50-$1 NL for the last game at his house...Brian is the owner of MD-Poker and got a new job out Mississippi so he is moving out there...I'll most likely play when I shouldn't...but oh well, most I can lose is $100...We'll see though............

Went up with JackJr to play the cash game...not much to say...."0-3" is my record there, with a small lost thankfully...Stuck $190...Was up and down the whole time playing "catch-up" as usuall...Wasn't gettin any cards, when I did have a hand, ended up gettin out drawn or my hand just never improved...JackJr Busts me crackin KK with my own hand...so I was bitter...

OK now I have about $50 bucks on here...sittin in a .25/.50 NL game on here now and doin ok...but god damn...playin this long for shit change is STUPID!

Soon as i run this up to $120, goin straight to the $1/$2 NL Win or Lose cause playin this long to win $10 bucks is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

Tonight is the MD-Poker Online League games on Absolute Poker...I missed the last 2 games...Anyway, tonight was PLHE, I took 3rd for $22 bucks...and It should give me some points to put me in the race in league points I think...



Played a couple $1 SnGs on Poker.com...I won some money off a freeroll tourney from Pokerfrog on Myspace.com...was down to my last 2 bucks, ran 3 SnGs in a row for 1st place...lost like 3 bucks in a .5/.10 NL game...anyway, just gonna sit in these cheap tournies and run it up so I can move up a level..but starting from scratch is a blower...

Now I got a lil over a dub on AP so I'm bout to see if I can run this up so I don't have to reload...just see if I can run this petty change up...we'll see....

Friday Night Showdown!

Yes, it felt sooooo good to run a game again! You know what, I didn't make as much as I used too Friday night, I didn't run a 100% Rake back special LOL, But I had a shit load of fun...it felt good to see everyone again on a Friday night, slingin chips back and forth, laughin havin fun again...i attempted to cook this time around, Tried to make the Wednesday Night favorite dish that we used to eat at Travis and Noelle's Games...TACO PIE!!! LOL Lets just say it wasn't Noelle's cooking but it was edible, I won't be doing that again...Glad I bought chicken just in case LOL

Anyway, Game ran till 6:30AM had alot of fun, some nice cash outs...My 2nd hand into the game, I get QQ and JackJr gets KK, I raise to $15, he re-raises me $50, I tell him I know he has Kings, I ask to show...he shows me a K so I call LOL I say I can try and suck out on him...flop missed, I just muck...fuck it, table fills so I sit out till a seat opens...couple folx was waitin to get in the game by then...

Another hand that stood out was a nice hand...Anne, JackJr, JP, Ross...

I can't remember how it went down, but it was a raising war and it ended up being 3 all-ins preflop...Anne is holding QQ, JackJr, ended up folding his AQo, Ross has KK, JP has Ax (I seen it when he lifted his cards to muck)
Anne hits the case Q on the flop for a set of Qs and takes down the pot...very nice sized pot too! Maybe someone can tell how it went down...but I cant remember...

Saturday at the S.H.O.P $70+$10 NL Tourney/$1-$2 NL Game

Alright...tired from the night before...didn't get home till 8AM and went to bed, woke up at 12PM and ended up layin in the bed cause I can't get back to sleep then end up having to get up to make it to Pops Game...

20 Players for the tourney, end up gettin 8th place, got short stacked cause blinds eatin me up...I end up limpin in AKc hoping for a raise, Big Syd pushed all in, Of course I call, its a race..66 vs. AKc...I miss the board, he ends up puttin me out in 8th...I jump in the cash game...

Wow...Old dude named Frank...wow, is all im sayin..and for everyone that took advantage of that dude....you are goin to hell LOL na...thats what we were all saying, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to double up off him...but there was some fortunate folx that did! Lets just say Frank got punished

Did decent in the cash game, bought in for $150, cashed out at $415 for a profit of $200 after makin the money back from the tourney buy in...

Sunday Night At Big Chris House $.50-$1 NL

Went to Big Chris house tonight, Was supposed to go to Steve's game since he was havin one, but he was full...Game wasn't big tonight, bought in for $60 bucks, cashed out $115...came home early, played on Party Poker...down to my last $2 bucks on there LOL so I end up playin a $1 tourney, 1450 some players, I end up gettin 67th place for a whopping payday of $2.36 or somethin like dat, End up playin the $2 Tourney with about 550 players, end up gettin 80th place when it pays out top 60 players...Gonna reload onto Party again and see if I can flip that back to over a grand and cash out....Next game won't be till Thursday at Greg's place, I think ima go there this week instead of Silver Spring cause Ima take it easy this week...till Friday, hopefully I can get a game goin on this Friday again..........till then....

Game at the S.H.O.P - Pops Game

Went to Pops game that is held every other Saturday.

Played a $90 + $10 NL Tourney, 17 players, he usually gets a full 2 tables, but this time was only 17, wasn't bad. I got 3rd place for a payday of $280.

By the time I busted out of the tourney, the cash game was already full...so there was a wait list till I can sit down...so in the mean time, the folx waiting decided to play $2/$4 Limit Dealers Choice game. I ended up stuck -$19 bucks....My boy Ross gets up cause he wants to watch the fight tonight, since he made a ton of money, ($600 somethin) He decides to get up and tells me the seat is nice, so I take his seat when he leaves...and he sure wasn't lying!

I sit down with $181 bucks, bought in for another $100 and Played with what was left in the $2/$4 game...

Game ended up breakin at 2:30 AM and I get up with $740!

Great night, total profit made this evening $800!

Last Nights game was crazy, 4 Quads and each one of them was paid off with a big bet on the river ($100 ) or there were all-in bets that were called with quads...OUCH! Glad I didn't get mixed up in those hands!

OK, So I buy in a $5+$1 Tourney Prize Pool is at $4610.

While im playin this, I'm waiting for the $40K Guaranteed Tourney to start...

So I'm playing both of these tournies and decide to buy in the $5+$1 Shoot out Tournament as well...

Doing well in both tournies....The shoot out tourney starts and BOOM...Everyone is disconnected for almost 1 hour...

So that kinda blows my groove, I'm above chip average on both tournies...shoot out just starting

When PP reconnects...The shoot out tourney, blinds are now 200/400????? WTF
The $6 Tourney blinds are way up there
and the 40K guaranteed blinds are up there, at least 3 levels worth of blinds went past while everyone was disconnected and when the tournies restarted, we restart where we left off and the blinds are extra high now...This is UNFAIR I believe..so I write to PP to complain about this...I had a real decent shot at both tournies...with the 40K 1st prize was 9G...WTF

Anyway, I bust out the $5+$1 Tourney in 125th out of 922 with folx cashing at 100th place...UPSET

Shoot out tourney I place 7th because when the tourney disconnected we were still at 20/40 blinds and then we come back to 200/400 LOL I'm out any face cards I see, I push LOL im out in 7th..

I at least cash in the 40K guaranteed...I'm very upset at this though only cause i have a very good shot at this payday, but get fucked cause of the disconnection and the blinds increasing 2-3 levels w/o any play...fuck that...im pissed...I end up gettin 128th out of 2166 makin it to the 3rd tier of the payscale... damn im upset at that...


Oh well, waitin on a regular $30+$3 freeze out tourney to begin...Hopefully I can get a decent payday for the retardness of PP tonight....

Birthday Weekend!

Well...Run down on this past weekend...

Friday night held my game...very nice turn out...Ran $1/$2 NL till we were down to 5 handed, then decided to switch it up to $2/$4 Dealers Choice...Ended up losing bout $100 for the whole night, played catch up the whole night...

Saturday, JoeBlack usually runs his game, but his didn't pop off this weekend, ended up going to J-Skills game this weekend...just a friendly .50/$1 game, made 2 bucks for the whole night LOL I'm on a fuckin roll!!! BOOOO!!

Anyway, No game on Sunday, so ended up gettin online and playing...got with a group called Pokerfrog.com on Myspace to play in the freerolls dude has seems like frequently, my first time there...Anyway, I took 5th place out of 67...Somethin slight, but it was a fun freeroll tourney!

Went up to AC to go up for the ATLARGE tournaments...

So I ride up with Keenan when he gets off work, and make it up there in time to get some grub at the Pokerstars.com dinner...Dinner was great, speakers were kinda boring, but we left anyway to play some 1/2 NL downstairs.

Long story short on Friday Night, Bought in for the max $300 and was run down to about a good $32bucks, ran it back up to $268 and decide to cut my losses and head up to the room and go to sleep...

Saturday morning, we go and register for the NL Tourney for the ATLARGE folx...Bad structure, tourney started out choppy...Buy in was $100+20 Everyone recieved T$1000 in chips, blinds started at 5-10 with 30 minute levels...not bad, but not enough chips to play poker, I think it was a lil under 200 players, top prize was around $6000 with 18 places being paid out a min of $245 or somethin like that...Anyway, had a last longer bet with the folx from MD-Poker.com...

While waitin till the tourney started, we go grab breakfast and go play some $2/$4 Limit to kill time, I get in for $60 bucks and play my first hand blind and lost LOL, guy to my left is pissed we keep blind raising LOL...anyway, I donk off $49 bucks, and tip the dealer the rest of my money LOL, The old lady was viscious with it..."Where your balls, call me" or she hit me with the, "Your balls aint big enough to play with me, Im a nun, but who cares you aint got no fuckin money" LOL this lady was a fuckin trip!
Tourney did OK, played tight, and they put me, keenan and Travis on the same table...what a donk fest LOL sike na, we played well and well..Travis played like Travis

Blinds started getting up there, and my chip stack couldn't keep up with the blinds, so end up callin an all in hoping to double up with AKo but they ran into the chip leaders AA, but this guy is so lucky, hit AA a good 4 times, KK he had 6 times...This guy was extremely lucky as he took the chip lead very early knockin out about 3 players in the first level of the tourney...

We end up all busting out, head down to the Trop where I get my ass handed to me...Bought in for $240, rebought for $200 and end up losing it, I end up going upstairs, hit a J, and head out with Pete to Bare Exposures...Partied...
