FRIDAY - $3-$6 Limit Round of Each H/L Game

Turn out was great, it was alot of fun playing other games instead of NLHE. I actually made some money after playing Heinz Poker for a short period of the game. I didn't jump into the game until real late because the table was full pretty much the whole evening. Lauren made some Taco Pie that was good. Can't wait to decide what she will be making for the game next game.

SATURDAY - $210 Freezeout & $1-$2 NLHE

After taking a small nap Friday morning after my game, I had to head down to Pops Game at the S.H.O.P. He just got back from his Florida Trip and was in town to host his game, then in the morning he was headed straight to Vegas for a mini vacation of his own...

Game started out with a small tournament with about 13 players. Travis and I dealt the 2 tables when it broke to 1, I dealt the final table while he dealt the cash game. Noelle usually deals the cash game, but she was still in the tournament so Travis did his thing for the cash game 'till Nelly busted out the Tournament. Pops and Rick chopped up 1st and 2nd place money with Pops having a 2 to 1 chip lead on Rick while Keenan took 3rd place.

Cash game started and I played my usuall game, building my stack until I went card dead towards the end of the game. Game was cut at 3AM because Pops had to catch an early morning flight to Vegas. Ran my stack up to a little over $500 making a small but nice profit, its not that $1K cash out I like, even though it looked like it was getting there in the middle of the game. There really were no hands that stick out to me worth talking about.

Travis, Noelle and I planned to head up to Atlantic City after the game...we were going to get dropped off in Baltimore to catch the greyhound up for a 6:30AM departure. Meanwhile, Paul was interested to go, so I kept mentioning it to him tryin to convince him, lets go...after a lot of convincing, he decides what the hell and drives up to Atlantic City!

Game breaks, we clean up a little bit, and head to Atlantic City. We arrive at the Trop and Pauls drops us off at the Trop...Home Field to me...I just can't play anywhere else and he heads over to the Borgata.

SUNDAY/MONDAY - TROPICANA/TAJ MAHAL TOURNAMENT

We got to the Trop, my FAVORITE poker room in Atlantic City and sat down to a table at 6:30 AM. I sit at a table with Travis cause of course, I see an extra sexy chick at the table...but Travis sat at the end of the table with her, and being I don't like to sit in the middle of the table, I decide to sit on the opposite end. The table is short handed and we are playing like donkeys having fun until we get other players to sit down and as it got later in the morning, the table fills and fun poker is done with. I end up getting friendly with Meeva, the chick I was eyeing at the table...But being I had a bunch of chips and I couldn't miss draws, I ended up shipping her my stack on a flush draw when it was obvious she hit a set on the flop and I was tryin to draw out on her...she is banging each street until the river and let me off the hook on the river which I didn't understand..she did alot of retard plays and I found myself bluffing her alot out of hands. I guess justice was served when I shipped her my stack and she stands up 15 minutes afterwards with my money...she cashes out and comes back to the table and asked if I was gonna be here when she gets back...the person she came with had to be back home and she was gonna come back afterwards...Told her to give me a call but no service at the Trop and I didn't see her again..hopefully she will still call me just to chat a lil bit

Played $1-$2 NL the rest of the day, making a small profit and decide to play the 7:15 Deepstack Tournament at the Trop. $80+$20 Buy in with starting stacks at T$10,000 in chips. I thought this would make for better play, but being the structure is stupid, its no difference starting with the regular T$4000 Tournaments with the Single Add-on. At least it fixed my curiousity with that tournament, I ended up doing well until the blinds started getting out of hand and it turned into an all in fest...made it to 2nd break with Antes being 200, Blinds are at $400-$800 I decide its time to push on any decent hand. I get irritated and found myself in late position after paying $1600 in antes and my blinds, I'm down to T$5800 chips left and decide im just goin to push...guy besides me is irritated that I did the move I did..yes it was some donkey shit, but I didn't want to play anymore. I'm in LP with 79o, Limp, All In, fold, fold, All in, Fold, Fold, I'm all in, after saying Fuck it and chip leader called all 3 all ins. Guy besides me was like, I really hope you have somethin and not feed the chip leader any chips...I told him yeah, I have a straight draw with 2 flush draws and show him my 79o...he is disgusted and berates me for making such a stupid play, I say watch what happens and told him I just didn't wanna play nomore, fuck this tournament...he was shorter that I was but took it very seriously...with his stack its a crap shoot as well...anyway, im up against QQ, AK and some hand I can't remember to my 79o LOL

Flop comes 6TAr with the chip leader with AK excited he is about to scoop the main and side pot! Turn is blank, River 8...OOPS...I ran into my straight...I said OOOH look at that, dude besides me is sick to his stomach and says I can't believe this shit...I say I have a straight! dealer didn't make us turn out cards over and the whole table says, "What?" I laugh and say, "straight, this game is pretty easy" and laugh..."yes I know this was disgusting, Me So Lucky!" and I collect the main pot which was pretty damn hefty off the quadruple up and chip leader takes the side in disgust. Couple hands later, I laughed and said, damn that was pretty dirty huh? chick across the table said yeah, that was dirty as shit dude LOL I bust out when we are down to the last 3 tables. Meanwhile, Travis, Noelle and I decide we want to play the Midnite tournament at the Taj. This was just for the fun of it...you start with T$12,000 in chips, levels are 12 minutes and it cost $38+$12 to play...$50 bucks is cool to donk off and have some fun with. So yeah, 2nd hand in, im busted and first player to bust out. Guy to my left flops a boat holding J8, flop comes out J88, 2 clubs, I have A7c, Turn was a 6c, we get all our money in the middle and I ship it. Go sit down at a $1-$2 NL Table run my stack to get my buy in back with a real small profit when Noelle busts out and says, lets go back to the Trop..sure, let me cash out and lets go..Cash out and we head back to the Trop...The Taj sucks...I hate the Taj...Just reminded me why this place is stupid...

Head back to the Trop and decide to play the Pink Game with Noelle...$7.50-$15 Limit Holdem' Wow, this game was fun...Noelle busts and goes to bed. Now this game is a damn roller coaster, gained the respect I wanted and was able to take down some pots w/o going to showdown, I break dead even and cash the hell out and go to bed around 7AM.

MONDAY - TUESDAY - BORGATA/CAESARS/TROP

Wake up around 12 and found that Paul got up already and was at the Borgata. I wash up and cab it to the Borgata and find Paul. Plan was to leave around 3 to make it home by 6 so I can be home when my daughter gets back from day care..yeah, I made arrangements cause we are going to stay the day again....Sit at the next table to him and play some $1-$2 NL and grab some pots here and there...Talking to a guy I have seen many times at the borgata and figure out how I know him, he plays in Bumpers Annapolis Tournaments he used to host on Thursdays but Chip and Cutty have takin it over for Bumper. I think about registering for the Act I Tournament. The Borgata Summer Open is going on now and Mondays even was the $300 rebuy tourney. I think about playing the 2nd Chance cash tournmant also...but lose track of time and don't. Paul busts out and says lets hit the buffet...heh, im up somethin small again, lets go...see the trend? I don't mind leaving if I'm up and I'll take the profit any day LOL. Go eat at the buffet and he says lets go hit Caesars...

Play at Caesars for a little while, run my stack up....again...and after a couple hours of play, game looks like its going to break, well...the folks that I was playing with that I was having fun with decide to get up, so I get up and tell Paul im taking a cab back to the Trop. Nothing wrong with Caesars and actually didn't have any retard dealers so I have no problem with Caesars poker room, but its not the Trop...I made my decision yesterday, I will only play at the Trop and Borgata from now on...no need to ask what casino I want to play at, its either 1 of the 2 but best when we first get there, just know I'll be at the Trop makin my way to the Borgata later on during the trip.

Wow at the action table I was at...of course I ran my stack up a good bit amount and Charlie, Marco walk in and see me, I was sitting at the table with Charlies cousins and didn't know it was them...total fish...The table was all fish and dude I played with when we first got there was sat at my table, we chit-chat a lil bit and don't get into each others pot, if it happens that we get heads up, we just checked it down...he never won a pot from me. Anyway, Charlie comes up to me and says, Don't take my cousins money E...Those 2 are my cousins LOL Fine man...but for some reason his cousin Salso had my number and won some big pots off me...ok, its war LOL...I finally snapped him off and it was a big hand...pot got to be close to $1000. I looked down to 55, it was a raised pot, Salso is drunk off his ass and likes to push...he runs his stack up high off the suck outs..he couldn't miss a draw...I hit my set on a A35 board. 4 hits the turn, dude to my right that is all in says yes and shows his duece...fuck...A on the river..BOAT SHIP IT...I scoop the pot! 2 racks of red-birds im boosted, Salso continues to rebuy after rebuy, and is now in the game for way over $1400 and we just sit there and pick at his chips....then it turned into drunk poker, table fills up with 6 drunks and 3 of us are sober including me, and we are just pickin off the drunk players...This one guy just can't do it...he is extra angry and storms off after 3 rebuys and him falling victim to Salso's drunk suck outs..it was disgusting...Couple of the regulars decide to go get fucked up and blaze, but Salso wants to play more, I say fuck that, yeah lets keep playing, Take a stack and a half out my rack, head to the cage with the rest and cash it out oooh that felt good LOL....so we move over to Noelle's table and everyone is happy that we decide to move the party over to there table now...Salso just stitched his stack away slowly buy surely and decides to keep re-buying until he is dead broke. I ran my stack up doubling it, then decide to register for the 11:15 tournament...the whole night waiting to spread a pink 2-way game also...not enough interest so it was a wash...I took $65 in chips off the table and went to the cage and cashed it up so I can register for the Tourney...I took a break, took $25 off the table and went to the crap table while I took a break and dumped it after making somethin small...came back and ran it back up...made a bad call, shipped a stack to guy on my left..its cool, didn't hurt me one bit...made it back and decided to get cute with the hammer....72o i raised and flop came out 22A, I bet $17 on the flop, got 2 callers and 6 came on the turn, Bet out $40, dude is hollywooding me the whole time LOL...call...River brings a 5...Bet out $60, he asks if I have a duece, i say yeah...he asks let me see it...I say pay per view dude...and point to the $60 bet...hits me with the ok, im all in then...oops...insta call...i can't lay down trips...he shows 25 of clubs for a boat....OOOPS, i ship him my stack, he has me covered...heh...its time for the tourney anyway...god damn why did I have to get cute? lol oh well...still up for the trip...

Played the morning tournament, 3 hand in, hit trip Js get my money in there, to get rivered broadway. make it to the 3rd round, look down to TT, push, to get called by KTd who is also all in, and AA who scoops the pot, im going to sleep now...sleep for 3 hours, Paul comes up and gets me and we head back home...

Over all, great fun trip...back to reality...heh...till Wednesday...See you guys again Wednesday night at the Donkey Coral.

$1-$2 NL At the Donkey Coral

Went to Travis' and Noelle's Game on Wednesday.

Pretty much was card dead the whole game...the whole table was card dead as we watched Mikey win pot after pot after pot...he was slammed with the deck as his stack grew to close to $1400...when he decides to leave, we get pretty much short handed with only about 40% of the money left on the table...Luckily I wasn't in the game too much, but only my original buy in and 1 $100 add on to my jizzled stack...

Game ended up breaking and we were down to 3 handed, Jimmy, Paulson and myself. All 3 of us were playing Heinz poker so Jimmy wanted to play till one of us 3 had all the chips...fine, whatever...we decided to play...Eventually, me and Paul broke Jimmy after 3 re-buys with his last re-buy being the shortest rebuy of all his rebuys through out the night...Paulson was still stuck, but not more than $150, and I ended up beating Heinz poker walking out that house with a $75 profit...all that to make $75...I am not complaining at all...just sucks to play that long for that lil bit of money, but none the less, its a Win...

Whats goin on with AT lately? I think AT is losing on purpose because I have adapted my revised hand...the mighty duece-4. The past 3 weeks, I am probably 3 for 48 playing AT, but Wednesday Night, my duece-4 was on point..filled up a couple times, busting the new guy...I thought he has JJ, but Travis said he had to pair...I'm not gonna cheat on my AT for the Duece-4, I aint collecting my shiny white chip if duece-4 takes down a pot for one of my fellow players...but you betta ship me a white chip if the AT takes it down...thats the original E hand..and will stay my hand...Just beware of the Revised hand cause it'll get ya!

Independence Weekend Poker at the S.H.O.P

Whoo Hooo!!! You gotta love the 12 hour grinds at the S.H.O.P. We just can't leave...especially when there are chips to be takin...

Wasn't any really big hands that stand out to me at this time...Just played good poker through out the night...yup..I did it again...ran that stack up to over 1K again...Nice big red twin towers! I wasn't the only one though this weekend...goodness there had to been over 6K in chips at one point of the game at its peak...

Of course Launtz cashes out a trillion dollars again...he scooped a big pot for way over 1K had him sittin very pretty the rest of the evening...

I got in the game for my regular $150 buy in...added on another meat ball and it was no lookin back after that...Cashed out of the game with $1100 and some change...made a nice profit...Thats 3 in a row for a 1K or more cash out at the S.H.O.P....I hope this can keep up for this upcoming Saturday's game!

Its 4th of July, headed to my folx house to BBQ it up..hopefully I can get some friends together to come over, eat food, play a little poker as well...somethin friendly...not late either...I got an interview on Wednesday at the D.O.T buildings as an assistant property manager over there...

Goodness...How do get in the game for $300 at Big Chris house???

The fish tank was cancelled today so I went to Big Chris house to play the every Sunday get together with the crew for $1-$1 NL...

I somehow rebuy within the 1st maybe 45 minutes? Actually add-on when I think I have the best straight, but Jizzle catches me with the broadway...Heh....whatever...

As the night goes on...My 'lil brother is hittin all his draws...straights...flushes...he couldn't miss a draw...even gut shots..he won't fold...he hits everything...he ends up sittin with over $400 in his stack...Everyone that came by, bought in but didn't cash out...I refused to let the game break early specially im losin my ass off....

Down to 4 handed with me almost even..still playin Heinz poker....when we decide to cut the game at 5:30AM...fine...I'm down about $93 bucks...I can hopefully get out this game breakin even...

Usually deal this game, After seeing Travis have a horrible week last week, I asked him if he wanted to take shifts dealing Bert's game last night...he agrees and I take the top of the hour to deal Bert's game...

Seen some sick hands, Set over Set, AA vs. KK and stacks just gettin shipped back and forth...Nothin out the usual over there...

John cashed out a good bit, then couple busted out...M-Bomb caught some feelings when the fellas started talkin bout Asian women...and the majority playing are Asian..I don't know why he caught feelings, but he decided he didn't want to play any longer and cashed out a good bit amount and the table got tighter...M-Bomb makes the table very loose...

I decide to take 1 more shift in the box and jump in seat 9 where M-bomb sat...actually in the 10 seat, but both seats are open...Ran my $150 stack to $550 in 2 hours...

I ran down Jimmy with my KJ vs. his AK...I honestly didn't know he was messing around with AK, but I still had a gutshot and he didn't make it too expensive for me to think I was behind...limped pot 5 ways...Flop was KT6...Jimmy bet out $10, 2 callers, I bring it to $25, folds to Jimmy he calls, Hollywood scott and Todd both fold and we are heads up...Turn brought an Ace and he bets out $25, I just call and peeled a Q on the river...checked to him thinkin he would bet, and I take the pot...

Went to Nelly and Travis' game last night...Game broke earlier than normal with most of the big chips cashing out...game broke around 1AM but the ones that usually stay late decided to just sit around and play some $2-$4 Limit Dealers Choice Game..any game was good except wild card games...we played 7-card Stud High and H/L, Omaha high and H/L, Holdem', Badoogie, and from the Gypsy...Pyramid LOL That game is STUPID LOL...Badoogie and 7-card Stud H/L was the choice for most of the evening...

Yeah, I lost my ass in DC...Everytime...Travis Begged me to deal cause he knows I lose my ass in DC as well LOL...I didn't listen...

I didn't lose any money when we were playin $1-$2 NL, I actually had a small profit...to be all lost in DC...within 1 rotation...im down to almost $50 bucks...hit $40 and decide fuck this game, I'll deal LOL

Broke even and said, "I'm tired" sat on the couch...at 6AM i found myself after breaking even from dealing, i made a whopping $6! I'm going to McDonalds!

I like paying off Royal Flushes!

Anyway, if anyone got hit with the deck it was Buddah...He couldn't miss any flops...he used it to his advantage and got me off hands where I would've rivered the best hand...He played well. There was no stopping him, lady luck was sittin on his lap giving him a lap dance while throwin the deck at his head...oh well...stuck $177 bucks at Big Chris house...I don't know why I even put that much money into the game when they don't even buy in for more than $30 at a time...I just try to grab the money they stick in the game and just keep scoopin each small buy in as my stack grows, but once Buddah Crippled me somethin viscious...It was re-buy after re-buy after re-buy...If only I played bad and thought that 1 pair was golden even bottom pair, I would've made money cause I would've been hittin trips the whole night...But with Buddahs Big Stack and he kept betting and his image he established with me flopping joints or monster draws and hittin them...I had no choice but to fold...

Tilt started after a 3-way all in when I flop a set of 5s, Dennis has KK, and Big Chris has a gut-shot on the flop...Dennis raises his KK, I re-raise my set of 5s..chris thinks and re-raises all in with a gut-shot straight draw...Dennis is all in cause his call wasn't enough to cover Chris' all in, I have both of them covered...to be rivered and Big Chris hits his 4-outer...Kenny knew exactly what I had and started shippin me the pot on the turn till that stupid 3 hit the river to give Big Chris that straight....4 outs...a gutshot...yeah...pushin all in when there was a big bet and a big raise is a real good play...BLOOP BLOOP BLOOP...This game is stupid and even more stupid when bad plays get paid off....Big Chris house will now be called Bad Beat Central...

But with Buddah's double up...I can't help to say that was a great hand...for him at least and he played it to perfection especially that I kept hammering at it...cant blame him for the call though...that flop was a monster for him! Too bad Buddah won't see that for another 7 years!! LOL

Pops Game at the S.H.O.P was great! Really no big hands stuck out to me...started growing early...

Got mixed up in a hand with Redpit and Brettster. Raised pot and I look down to AQ of apples so I call..Flop came out TsJd7s. Brettster bet out maybe $25 and Redpit and I call. Turn K of non apples...Brettster bets out $75 (he is fuckin around with 2 pair), Mikey pushes all in for over $300 (he is fuckin around with a straight...he flopped the lower end of the straight) and I hit the gutshot broadway on the Turn so I say "All In" also...just cause it sounded good to say it right after Redpit does LOL. Brettster thinks a minute and folds...with a real jizzled stack for Brettster after all the shaningans...River brings me a 5s and backs me into the nut flush...Redpit gets up and leaves for the day and I stack my chips...

Feeling all cocky I look down to KK with a raise from Slavi, Call, Call, I re-raise...Slavi sticks another $75 on my raise and I eye Slavi's stack up...ask him how much it is....and tell him to stick dat shit in there...."hope you don't have Aces man...stick it in there man" heh...he has AA, of course he does...I ship him a $300+ pot...didn't sting till an hour later when I realised...I wanna snap this kid off somethin bad now LOL No more of that again...LOL Lesson Learned LOL I play REAL GOOD!

My boys James and Kentland Jay came by to play also...they don't play too much $1-$2 with the MD-Poker Circuit of Home Games...Kentland Jay busted pretty quick...James was playin Ok as well...I got real lucky on him when he flops 2 Pair on a A95r board and I think I have AJ in my hand...Turn was a 9, we both check, river was an A to fill me up to give me a bigger boat over James turned boat...heh...I hit a 2-outer...me so lucky! I asked him to check it down, I even turned over my Ace on the turn but James didn't pay attention to me doing it and pushes it all in on the river...I should've thought twice cause if he seen my Ace and knew I had Aces Full...what else would be pushin? the big 2 pair red and black 9s...I insta call and he says 9's full i say Aces full and he ships it...he didn't even see me turn my Ace over to show him he told me...Gutsy call if you ask me cause if he did see that Ace and pushes...you would hope to believe he was pushin quads LOL

Anyway, stack just grew and grew...game was about to break when Goodfellas game breaks and he has a couple of guys that still wanna play, he sends them down to Pops game and they, at least Josh was drunk off there ass! They get to Pops place a little after 3AM and Greg and Josh sits down...we all agreed to cash out and re-buy back in cause we felt it wasn't fair to have them sit down to stacks between $600 - $1000 around the table....They said it was cool...I cash out and leave $250 on the table...

Greg busts and Josh is the only one playin against Me, Travis and Jeff...Drunk as I don't know what...he was Sweatin Hennessy LOL Talkin was slurred...it was funny, but we wasn't tryin to let him leave at all....

He was raising every pot, pushin all in alot...and he pushed one time when I had 99...took a second for me to call, I had to talk myself into callin him cause he was playin so wreckless and wild and he was drunk...Heh..he had KK..but the turn card was a hell of a turn card turnin me 14 outs...straight, flush and a set but heh, I miss LOL he stacks my chips...

The three of us take turns stabbin at Josh's Chips...Pops finally calls the game at 7AM so we need to get his chips quick...

I limp in as well as everyone else...Josh Raises of course....I think how can I get this dudes chips in the middle...I min raise him...Travis looks at me funny....and folds...He already knows what I got, Jeff Folds and of course...Josh re-raises all in...BOOOM...CALL! Flips over AKo...AA holds up and I scoop the pot, they roll out, we count our chips...another small profit...cash out and call it a day...Heh, Steve's tournament is in a couple hours...

Get home to take a 3 hour Nap and get up to get going to Steve's Fish Tank to play the $100+$10 tourney...Had 30 players locked...but only 22 players showed up...I bust pretty early wanting to get into the $1-$2 NL game...I gave up on the tourney after I flopped TPTK on an 8 high board...I had A8h and 1 heart came on the flop...heh, I got TPTK with a flush draw LOL guy keeps hammering it and I won't go away...turn a heart, now im deffinately not goin nowhere...River is a rag of non heart...FUCK...oh well...he checks his KK cause he got worried cause I aint go nowhere, I should've flat banged it there, but just checked it and said I have an 8...LOL table is like WTF cause I didn't play a hand for at least 30 minutes when I was moved to the table...everyone was like, uh oh, he hasn't played a hand and every one folded...LOL they were suprised what trash I was playin LOL

Ran downstairs to get into the cash game b4 it filled up, that is why I gave up and just wanted to dump my chips cause I didn't want to get on the wait list..got into the game to run my stack up to a little over $500 to make my buy in back from the tourney and make a small profit for the day/night/early morning...Heh, not a bad weekend!

Oh yeah...My friday game was a blast! We played 2-way $3-$6 Limit 30 Minutes of Omaha H/L8 and 30 Minutes 7-Card Stud H/L 8..Game was awesome! Kill pots brought the Omaha game to $5-$10 and that was SICK!!!

Went over to Pops game on Tuesday to play a $100 Tournament...Ended up only being 1 table. We played it head hunter style so basically it was $120...Luckily I knocked Pops out when he decided to push when I woke up to AA...they held up one time!

Bubbled the tourney so I took a $100 loss...

Game ended early and Pops didn't want to have a cash game, so we decided to just have a 6 handed Sit N Go for $50 bucks..winner take all....

Played 1...I lost
Played a 2nd one...we were down to 3 of us left..waitin for 1 to get knocked out to chop up the prize money...ended up not goin nowhere, and I begged for a chop to lock me in for $100 to make back the $50 I lost on the first one...I'll be happy with that...So ended up being stuck $100 for the night....

Wednesday night, Travis didn't have his Wednesday Night Game...came back too late from Atlantic City, didn't get the word out in time to pull a game together...

Keenan has his buddies friendly game on Thursdays and he was hosting it this week..he invited me over so me and Kenny went down there to play a $10 tournament...top 2 gets paid...i think it was 12 of us playing..then we played some dealers choice for .20-.40-.60 limit....very fun, help Kenny learn other games...and he won a good $70 bucks from it...me....im stuck $4 bucks in there plus the $10 from the tourney...

Chalk up another losing session again...I'm just glad it wasn't a shit load of money and we were just playin penny poker for a change...sure did help the bug out of wanting to play with out destroying more of my bank roll...hopefully that got out all the bad luck and losing streaks out of my system...

I'm hosting a Friday Night Game this Friday...somethin small..We are going to play $3-$6 Limit Round of Each...Omaha and 7-Card Stud H/L8...should be fun! Lets just hope I don't donk off my chip stack this time around so I can play the rest of the weekend...full of poker as usual...Pops $1/$2 NL game Saturday and Steve is having a 3 Table tournament $100 buy in and its full too! E's Saturday $1-$2 NL Game

Well another great game this past Saturday! Full table all night! Shortest we got was 6 handed around 3:30 AM with alot of the money still on the table...lots of guys fell victom to River Ed's wins on the river...Wasn't alot of cash outs for the night either, with Steve, CEO of the Fish Tank is the big winner of the night! $1400 win!!!

Steve is on the button with 9...ony a 9 because he was only dealt 1 card....i believe it was limped around to him and he raises....then asked the dealer for 1 more card...everyone laughs and it was re-raised to him afterwards...(yall know my hand history skills so this might be slightly off from what happened...I'll get corrected though...) Anyway..he ends up callin whatever the raise was...and the flop doesn't give him a set...there was probably a bet on the flop with a re-raise all in and gets called...now its a 2 way all in with Steve having Ross and Ed covered...seriously, I can't rememeber when all the money went in teh middle, but the river brought a 9 to set Steve and to scoop...he didn't need that last 9, but it made the hand that more interesting...everyone got up with "ooooohhh shitttts" lol River Ed and Ross rebuy...

Another memorable hand of the night that started a war between JackJr. and Pops....I small raising war preflop when JackJr. decides to make a $100 raise to pops re-raise...Pops smooth calls and the flop is AQx...At this point...Pops thought JackJr. was all in and flips over his set of Queens while JackJr. was about to bet again...JackJr. . was so frustrated for some reason that he felt the need to stand up and slam his cards down to show a set of Aces...He only had $81 behind him, but he could've probably doubled up if Pops didn't show his hand...none the less...JackJr. shouldn't have shown his cards and just went all in and see what Pops would do...

JackJr. ran his stack up a lil bit and did one thing that puts pops on tilt....suck out somethin bad lol...he knew he was gonna do it too...Pops obviously had the best hand but of course JackJr. doesn't like people drawing on him, but here he goes chasing a flush again and ends up spiking it on the river after pops is hammering each street with bets lol. After that, Pops targeted JackJr. till he was down the felt...

Then at 4:50 in the AM...Pops finally gets the job done.....after talkin shit to get JackJr. to put me all in for my double up with my set of Jacks...I think he tilted a little bit after that....and especially he was tryin to leave for the past 2 hours...we kept talkin him into stayin a while...

I'm not exactly sure what the flop was but the flop was Jack high and that gave JackJr. a set on the flop and he pushes in the remaining stack he has...Pops says he can't fold I have to call you and is disqusted that JackJr. shows his set...Pops says I need help and turns a Q to give pops a set of Queens and he says there it is and shows on the turn, River is blank and JackJr. ships his stack via knockin the stack across the table and exits the table with out sayin anything to nobody....wow....the game is sick.....

No games today cause its Fathers Day...I stayed in Bed all day after a long weekend of poker and no sleep, I slept good, but now im up all night...Game at Big Chris' house Monday Night...I need to go over there and play good and not like a jerk and win my money back I lost on Friday...I didn't lose alot, but still I have lost money there the last 2 games I played there and its a must I leave out a win...

Even though River Ed didn't walk with any money for the night....it was too late to recover from drowning and being reminded why we call Ed..."River Ed"

Went to the Fish Tank last night to play Steve's $40 2-Table Tourney and $1/$2 NL Cash Game...Already planned on playin the tourney as a freeroll and stick it in there and either double up or get da hell out....Yeah, I was 2nd to bust...River Ed 1st....Travis 3rd...That should've been a givin as we were the top 3 donkeys in the house! LOL

Cash game didn't start in no time...started soon as 4 was able to play...Travis looked up to me and said "bad table Selection" and I was already thinkin that and couldn't agree more...Starting line up while we waited for players to bust was Alex, River Ed, Me, And Travis...That means trouble....

Soon, players were busting and the table fills quick...

Ed Busts Travis and he now will go pick up Noelle and stop by the store for us...He wasn't even gone 20 minutes before I was rebuying Twice already....

Let me set up this story when he got me on major Tilt and it was no lookin back to becoming sane again....

I try to find me a Heinz Kethup pack to use as my card protector from here on the rest of the night and couldn't find one, so I took his kethup bottle from his fridge and used that as my card protector...

It wasn't heinz so it didn't work...and I took a slow death last night to leave me stuck $600 bucks....

If anyone got hit with the deck last night it was Haga...Soon as he sat down, his stack just kept going, kept going, kept going and he never looked back...As for the other players...Lets say One warned me not to be alone in a dark alley and the other was my ride back home and was threatened to be dropped off on the beltway...then that was followed by, im following you home cause when you drop E off, I'm going to run him over like he is lettin me get ran over by Haga!

That was the top conversation at the Fish Tank last night as I dealt the night away.

Haga deserves the big win as much as he has been losing at the cash games most recently...last time we seen him win somethin big was at the Fish Tank's 40-person $100 tourney.

Lets talk about Sam...Sam I am is his famous hat...I can't remember a time when he has ever won when I dealt the cards...he is a decent player, but when I deal...he might as well either get up or just pass out his money evenly to all players....Every time I deal...he complains about the cards he gets...I've only played with him once before and I never heard him complain, all the other times he has played, I have been dealing the game and he always complains...at times I'll look at his cards and he isn't lying...T3o...Q2o....K3o.....T3o again, etc...you get the picture...But you know what? If Sam could only play the trash I was giving him last night, he would've had the Stack Rob was sittin on last night...That made him hate me more LOL...

Big John...Well...I suck...thats it to it...I suck real bad...It didn't fail that I gave Big John cards that actually hit the flop...2 pair...pairs...to only get crushed by Rob's Bigger 2 pair or straights hittin the board....or bigger flushes...While Big John said he liked The Fish Tank's New Cash Chips..he asked if the new set came with a dealer change button!

Everyone else just sat around and folded either to make a couple dollars or to lose a couple dollars....

River Ed came by also...warned everyone to strap there seat belts on...they loved River Ed. Like Saturday...River Ed didn't last long...Now he owes me $400!!! "$15 live Straddle" when he figured out that didn't work...he went higher..."$20 live straddle" yall know how River Ed loves to put his chips in the middle...pretty much happened every hand he was in...only to find out when he is finally called, he was beat!

I tell yall what...Haga kept gettin cards cause he is ONE HELL OF A TIPPER!!!

Sick Sick Game...

God Damn this game is sick...

Saturday afternoon headed up to the S.H.O.P with JackJr. and got there at 4PM for start of the game...Got in the game for $160 to start with...slow start, bled a little bit and had to re-load my dwindling stack another $100...Played tight, Didn't try and make any moves and built my stack little by little...Then got in a hand with Lance and Mike...Mike was a new guy that works with RobBobGolf...It was a raised pot to $7 bucks and I look down to an un-suited Scooter (KTo)

Flop came out 9JQ(2 hearts) and Lance bet out $12 bucks, called by Mike and I bumped it up to $35 bucks...Lance smooth calls, Mike re-pops me maybe another $40 so I push all in, Lance says fuck it and calls, and so does mike....I turn the nuts over and ask for no hearts..they both turn there cards over and Lance is lookin for the Nut flush while Mike is lookin for the 2nd nut flush...sweet...they both sharing hearts! Ask Noelle to put a heart out there and I dodge the flush and rake in a huge pot!

This is where the heater starts and end up runnin my stack to a good $1300 at one point...

The blues got as high as the red chips at one point with a buck and a half stack of greens, blues are $10 and of course reds are $5 and Whites are $1...It was at one point I had to look around my stack to see my cards LOL...It helped that my big pairs held up alot...couple hands I outplayed others and took down some pots...

Then I got AA again...when it was straddled to $4 then re-straddled to $8...

Dan, new guy to the game ends up pushin it up to $40 bucks...

Now I'm tryin to get my stack back to what it was supposed to be...and get mixed up in a hand with Greg (came later in the morning) and Travis...I've got a Suited Nelly and flop 2 to the flush...bets all around I think $10 or $12....Turn is a diamond...sweet...Bet out $40, Greg pops me for a min raise to $80, Travis calls and I ask who has the most between the both of them...Travis had Greg Covered, so I re-raise enough to put them both all in...Greg folds...Travis calls...He knows im beat...asks for the board to pair....River K to pair the board..."Fuck" Travis says Quads...I'm more sick...now im tilted....

Stack gettin smaller and smaller....barely over $500 bucks now...still have my red towers though so I'm ok...I'm seriously tilted...not having a good time anymore....

Now ever since Greg got there...he got the rock (Forced straddle) and always raised it to $12 to go...and would always win the pot, nobody could beat Greg when he had the rock and had to put it out there...and of course, everyone limps around to him expecting a raise, I wouldn't play unless I was gonna be able to call his raise...I tried to make a play on him but It didn't work..this time I got him...the whole table limped around to me and I popped it up to $40 to go...folds to Lance and he calls me...Board is a ragged rainbow flop and I bet $100 to play...Lance pushes all in for an additional $226+ and if I called it would pretty much break me even with about $13 more than what I was in the game for...Wow....What do I do here...I don't put him on a set, but put him on over cards like QQ or KK and after alot of though, decide to fold..I don't wanna gamble...I don't wanna be back to even....he shows me AK and bluffs a big pot to get Lance back in the game...Had I made the call, he busts and he doesn't get his money back at the end of the game....Now im TILTED....

Long story short...I end up makin a come back and end up getin my stack back to a little over $795 and its now 7AM and its time to go...Had it not been Pops' daughter's birthday, we probably still be playing right now...

NL has brutal swings...and is a very sick game....all that work for a $475 profit after shipping Travis $60 bucks I owed him for some Party Poker Money...

Gonna deal Steve's game later on today, so hopefully I can get back the difference I lost in those big hands earlier last night...Bed Time for a couple hours now................

Im sittin here playing party poker outside on my porch while I'm watching Cheyenne play outside...and it just dawned on me...

On Wednesday...JesseY, who is barely 21...was 4-tabling $10-$20 NL because he was on tilt for losing 3K at the chairmans game...plays $1-$2 NL with us and drops easily $400...

He ships it to to Travis and Noelle to pay his $400 board...

Its just funny to me that he has over $10K in play with a HUGE BANKROLL that I won't put out there, but I know myself personally nor my bank has ever seen that much money ever...but he can't afford to buy in a live $1-$2 NL game...Fuck Off! Thats my new saying...I just finished watching the Osbournes First Series on DVD...Too Funny!

Cutty's Thursday Tourney

Haven't been to Cutty's game in a while...probably since winter time some time...

I was trying to get a game together and play a single Table Tourney..somethin cheap and friendly so we can get together, play some cards and hang out...but of course...as my boys complain we don't have tourneys, I tried to put one together...they don't wanna come out...go figure...

So I call Kenny and see if he wants to head down to Cuttys game...he has a $100+$15 Re-Buy tourney...Kenny only likes to play tourneys that is $100+ so I knew he would be interested especially since he got either 3rd or 2nd last time we played...

We head out there and games starts about 10 minutes I get there...

I decide I wanna be cute and chase the nut straight...I flopped open ended...I know Rocko has a good hand and I just try and force my cards to get there...end up losing a shit load of chips LOL Board wasn't scary enough for me to bluff at it cause I know he knows im chasing...

sit around a couple hands...try and see some flops...keep missing, now im down to T$3600 in chips...from T$10K in starting chips...mind you not even 10 minutes have passed...couple hands later, i get JJ and raise to $700 to go...Rocko re-raises me and I end up shoving the rest of my chips in there along with Launtz...wow, im so dead...Rocko has QQ, Launtz shows AJo and QQ's hold up...REBUY!

Now im in for $100 and decide to play right...All-In Dave doubles me up I can't remember how...and he re-buys...lots of rebuys on my table cause Launtz and All-In Dave like to shove chips in the middle...

Of course i get in another hand with Launtz and All-In Dave...Launtz is acting first and limps in and I limp in with JQd and All-In dave limps in as well...Blinds are 200-400 and 2 hearts hit the board and I pair my Q for 2nd pair on the flop and Launtz fires at the pot...I sit and think, look at my cards...decide to smooth call his ass, dave does the same....Turn brings a 2h....Launtz decides to check when that heart falls...I think...think...and decide to fire $4500 at the pot...Not overbetting the pot...damn I wish I remember what the numbers were and all that, but by now you should know that I can't remember hand histories for nothing...but anyway, I fire at the pot, Dave mumbles good bet and folds after thinking...not that long though...uh oh...Launtz is counting chips...he keeps lookin at me, he keeps lookin at the board...I thought I seen him start to throw the chips in the middle and then he goes...god damn good bet E...mucks his cards...I rake the pot and show the JQd and Dave and Launtz are upset...Launtz was ahead with 2-pair and a possible flush if 1 more heart hits the board...All-In dave is upset and asked to see the rest of the cards..he would've tagged a straight some how...I don't know...thats what he said but never showed his cards...couple hands later they still sayin, damn that was a great bet...had I bet $2K or less, they was in it to win it...Whew...got away with that one...and that put me at over $20K in chips and they move Rocko to the other table and now I am table captain!

I sit on chips...play and pick my spots...and make it to the final table with Decent Chips...Cutty's moms made the final table and she bubbled out....I say, lets cut a deal for 5th place as 4 places are being paid out instead of 3 because of all the rebuys...sweet...Since I have a good track record of bubbling out of tournaments...I was straight...they decide to cut out $100 off 1st place and give it to 5th...even if I hit 5th, I still lose money cause I was in for $215 cause of my 1 rebuy...

Played well, stole some pots...they never called any of my raises...which was sweet...then Launtz decides to stand up to me and re-raise my 4x BB raise...I'm lookin at KK and go all in on top of his raise he naturally calls and has AQ, I ask for the Ace to come and it didn't! It worked again and of course they are confused..."Why are you asking for an Ace to come?" Don't you know if you ask for a card NOT to come, it comes...so to confuse the poker Gods...I ask for the Ace to come...and it worked! Gotta thank Travis for that lil trick!

Down to 4 handed...and Lance and Erick are in a hand together...Lance limps in, so does erick...me and dude fold...heads up..flop is rags and and lance checks...Erick pushes all in with Q5o and he pairs the 5 on the board...bottom pair....Lance calls with AQ and tags an Ace on the turn to put Erick Out..he is upset..."How do you call?" Lance says, how do you call an all in with that garbage...Erick is very purturbed and just sits there in disgust...no one says anything cause it got a lil tense...so we continue to play...fold a couple of orbits...and short stack asked me to chop 2nd and 3rd place prize...I look at his chips and says...na lets play man...he says you know it only takes 1 hand..I know man...as Lance raises 3x the BB...I push all in with AQ and he insta calls with QQ...like dude said...all it takes is one hand....im out in 3rd place for $300 bucks....wow All that to make $85 bucks LOL..2nd got $500 and 1st got a good $900 bucks...

The cash game was Whoa....Lots of rebuys. and those rebuys going in on 1 hand...they are playing dealers choice with Pitch as there game of choice...its 7-card stud H/L8...dealt 4 cards, pitch 1 card, roll 1 up and play goes like 7-card stud...I decide I'm going to deal the game...Kenny sits 1 orbit to see how to play...wins his first pot..and instantly falls in love with the game...he ended up shippin his stack when he mis-read his cards and thought he had the nut low when he was 9 high LOL...Did I mention this game was $2-$5 PL capped at $50 bucks? man...pots were huge!!!!!! Dealt the game for less than 1 hour...made another $50 in tips and Erick says its raining outside...Kenny says his wipers don't work...tags are dead...its time to go...Thanks for the tips fellas...great game...see ya next time!

Wednesday Curse has been broken!

Last night I went to the Donkey Corral and got in the game for $150...we started out playin $2-$4 Limit Dealers choice while we waited for more players to show up...About 3 rounds later $1-$2 NL started up...

I wasn't going to show up cause I didn't have a ride or enough money to play and I felt like shit cause I got sick on Tuesday...but of course, I have to go...I bring medicine, call a cab and make my way to the game...

Started off slow...slowly building up my chips...This time, I aint gonna take any coin flips and play solid poker the whole night...

I only lost 1 big pot the whole night when I flopped top 2 with 2 diamonds and Jeff ended up turning the nut flush and I ended up folding...

Lost a decent pot when I flopped a set of 7s and the flop was horrible with it showing 567 turn 9 and the river bringing 3 to the flush...can't remember what the suits were, you gonnna have to ask Travis the hand history man...

Over all...it was a good night..ended up cashing out with$570 for the night...took a cab home and tried to fall asleep but couldn't...still feeling a little under the weather...

Couple of buddies expressed interest to play a $50 Single Table Tourney...so hopefully I will be able to pull a couple of more playersfor tonight...

Side thought...As im sitting here typing this in...Celebrity Poker Showdown is on...I hated this show from the start, but seen it was Phil Helmuth on there as the co-announcer or whatever...but wow...these celebrities are TERRIBLE...how can I invite them to some of our $1-$2 NL Home games???

My First Saturday Game...Back on the Circuit! $1-$2 NL

Got my game kicked off hoping to revive what was my old Friday Night Games...The game actually went very well!

Started the game off at 4PM with Lauren Catering the best food we have gotten since Fridays Games...Food is actually been the very best since she started catering for my games! She made this week Baked BBQ, Corn on the Cob, Awesome Greenbeans, Potato Salad...yes indeedy...a Little messy cause of the baked BBQ Chicken, but none the less...everyone was full!

It was good seeing some old faces from the Friday game...It was good seeing Don come on through with one of his buddies from the Chairman's Game...Anne made a special appearance..been a while since I've seen her...Of course Pops, Travis, Noelle came on through along with some players from Bert's game as well, Keenan came by later on the night after he faded himself thinkin Cambridge, MD was close to us...so it was a good mix of new players for everyone...Travis ,Noelle and Keenan wanted to go to Atlantic City instead, but I asked that they just play a couple hours and head up...They left that evening to head up to AC when the new shift of players came on through...

Game was real good with tons of action..The board was up to $3000 at one point...it was around 1AM when we noticed that alot of players came through and left without cashing out a significant amount...the majority of the chips were still on the table...

All in all it was a nice juicy game...Thanks to all of you that came out to make the game a sucess...Hopefully this will work out every other Saturday opposite of Pops Saturday game!

Sunday Night...Back at Big Chris' House $1-$1 NL

"The Scott" ended up cancelling his game for Sunday so I ended up playing back at Chris' house on Sunday...Was a bigger game from Friday and the new fish from last week ended up showing up again to try and redeem there 1st loss last week...By the time they get there...I'm in the game for $250 already...The girl was jive drunk and was very flirtatious...I wish I knew dude she came with wasn't her boyfriend then I would've been a lil more open instead of tryin to be slick when she was sittin beside me...Me and Kenny kept lookin at each other like, we need to take this chick back home afterwards LOL...anyway...it was already 11:34 and I was sitting with $85 bucks left from my $250, and I bet Rosslyn and The girl..(I have no idea what the chick's name was) I would be back to even in 30 minutes..."yeah right" OK Bet...they claimed I bet $20 each, but I don't remember...anyway...I was $13 short from breaking even when the 30 minute mark hit...I ended up giving them $5 each cause I don't remember betting the $20...

Anyway, played Heinz poker the whole evening barely breaking the $250 mark back and forth...and game ended up breaking up but Frank didn't wanna quit cause he was stuck a whole lot...plus he didn't have more than $80 left, so I said lets play heads up...

Kenny and Rosslyn couldn't just sit there and watch, so they ended up rebuying a couple times to get back in the game...Kenny rebuys twice when we are 4 handed...

Big hand came when it was just me, rosslyn and frank...

Black Ace comes out on the turn...Frank pushes all in, I think a while...thinking I should just call cause I tagged teh Ace...and I still have my diamond draw...Now I woldn't have called if the Ace didn't hit...but since It did, I had frank covered...I been hittin flushes all night...and if I win the hand, game is over, I clean the table and get the whole bank....River Black 5 to give Frank the Wheel....

Ended up playin till 5:30AM to be stuck $165 bucks for the night....What a silly game....

Dealing Pops Tourney this Tuesday...$70+$20+$10 Head hunter game...These headhunter tourneys are fun...I just think I need to deal this time around cause of the loss I took on Sunday...

I so wanted to go to Atlantic city with Travis, Noelle and Keenan...Hopefully I can make it up soon...Wanted to meet up with Karol and Dawn and donate some money to them on the $1-$2 NL Tables...They are poker bloggers I ran into searching for poker blogs to read and started reading there blog on a regular!

The Fish Tank

Just came from the Fish Tank...Went up with Big John and Kenny and played a $40 Tourney...17 players...I bust out in 7th place...top 3 was paid...Pretty much short stacked after being bluffed off my KK when the board has 2 hearts on the flop...I raised preflop, bet the flop and was smooth called, 3rd heart came out on the turn, I bet out, got raised, then I fucked up and checked the river and he pushed all in...I put him on teh flush draw when he just called me on the flop...so the heart fucked my head up...

Push a couple times and get trippled up in one hand when my AA set on the flop...still had hearts to dodge, and they held up...

got put out when I pushed with 55 pretty much short stacked and A8h called and an 8 hit the turn and I can't tag a 5...

Off to the cash game...$1-$2 NL

Asked Travis to spot me $150 to jump in the game...he let me get that, said I'll get it back to him on Saturday at my game or just give it to him if I can make some money...

Played scared at first...I don't know why...then got comfortable with the table and made a lil bit of money...We stopped at 3AM slid Travis the $150 he let me get, and ended up cashin out $175 profit.

Had I not played that stupid tournament, I woulda had an extra $40 bucks...I don't think ima play home tourneys anymore unless its at least 3-tables...

Off to Travis and Noelle's game tomorrow evening.......If I can hitch ride out there!

Memorial Day Weekend...

Started the weekend at Big Chris place with the fellas to play $1-$1 NL...Usually deal Bert's game out Wheaton, but decided I didn't really feel like dealing and it was pretty easy to make money at Big Chris' house, but yeah...I run down my stack to as small as $22 bucks, to come back and cash out for the evening $134 to be stuck a whopping $16 bucks...Oh well, it was fun playing...

Saturday afternoon at the S.H.O.P

Whoa...this game was TUFF this week...Not getting cards could also help factoring how hard this game was this time around...I get there and already see 3 huge chip stacks...Get in for $150, get run down...Rebuy for another $100...and can't do nothing, I won 3 hands for the night...Dude named Jeff bust me for the night...I get dealt AK raise to $7, couple callers, Flop is A59 (2 clubs), I bet out $17, calls, folds, heads up, turn is a rag of club, I bet out $40, he thinks...thinks...calls...(Hollywood me and I never saw it coming) River is a red card hoping one more club hits the board for me to have the nut flush with my K...he had 2 clubs, QJc and busts me...oh well...time go to...Stuck $250

Classic Heinz Poker...

Well...Last night I went to the Travis and Noelle's Wednesday Night Game last night...

Game started out slow so we decided since it was only 5 handed to start the night off that we play a little $2-$4 Limit Dealers Choice with a Full Kill...Games we play are Razz, Omaha, Omaha H/L, 7-card Stud, 7-Card Stud H/L, Pitch and Bitch, and the various Pineapple games...Usually no drawing games...

Well of course I need to play these different games more often, I know basic strategies of the game but rely much more on luck...Ended up being stuck $70 bucks before the rest of the players got there for the $1-$2 NL game...

I should have takin a nap before going over there...I already knew I was tired...soon as I sat down...I'm already falling asleep at the table...and I'm famous for just falling asleep out of nowhere...

anyway, I end up shipping my stack to Keenan when I flop top and bottom to his top set...

Tuesday Night at the S.H.O.P - Jinxed...Maybe Not...

I wasn't sure what I was going to do when I got there, I wanted to play the Tourney, but then again, I wanted to play the cash game...But I had asked Pops for the box a week ago and just wanted to deal...

I've been having some really good sessions lately except for the time I donked off all my chips on the crazy table at the Trop on Sunday, other than that, I have been playin great. I decided, what the hell, I'll help Travis deal the Tournament and split the tips down the middle...and possibly jump into the cash game...Soon as 1 table broke, there were 2 players waiting for the cash game to start up, so I decided to just sit down and play 3 handed till players started bustin from the final table...it was only 15 players for the tourney...

Tourney ended up being chopped 3 way with P-Doggie takin 1st place spliting bottom money with Rob and Mikey....

The cash table filled up pretty quick and I was just folding away my time...watching everyone on the other side of the table rake in chips...Ughh....another one of those nights....We were playing $1-$2 NL and bought in for $150 bucks, biggest buy in was $200 so it was pretty slow...Alex had a couple of suck outs that ate some stacks up to give him a good bit of the money on the table...he called he had to leave at 12:30AM so he ended up takin most of the money off the table...

Then cards changed up for me...Started hittin flops hard, makin good lay downs, then I was sittin on about $300 when Pops busted and started dealing when Travis decided to take a break from dealing, When Travis came back in...he saw Pops was in the box cause he had busted, so he decides to sit down and play instead of dealing...

Pops tells me to straddle, and at the time, I wasn't hittin flops or catching good cards, so I refused to straddle...he said, I hope you get Aces and they get cracked and lose your money or somethin like that...I'm like WTF Pops, why did you just jinx me and I took it pretty hard for some reason and said, fuck it, I aint playin nomore, you just jinxed me and I aint tryin to lose what I got here...and said, cash me out...everyone said don't be that way so I said I was just gonna fold till yall decide to break the game...first hand I get KQo and it was limped to me...and said look, FOLD...Heh...Board...KK6 or somethin like that...Mikey and Lance were betting the shit out that flop too...Got dealt TT folded also to a limped pot cause I thought I was just jinxed...

So much for the jinx huh? ended up runnin my stack to $960 before cashing out for the night.

I was supposed to pay off Pops when I flop the nut straight and he calls with bottom pair to end up filling up...I'm just glad a 3rd apple came out on the turn to slow me down, bet out $20 to see where I was at, and he just smooth called me so I said I was done with the hand, he checked the river when the river paired the board and I check...he said shit why don't you bet at that? HUH? Look at the board...he called my flop bet with bottom pair...when everyone knew I hit the nut straight cause I looked down at my cards and said, wow look what I ran into LOL Well played Pops! LOL

Mikey tried to trap me too but kept it cheap for me when he fills up but it didn't work...

But what boosted my stack was me flopping open ended, bet, call, Turn..."Skrait" I bet, I get raised a good bit, I think, make sure I got the nut straight LOL, Push all in, Calls....Top 2 he doesn't fill up, he has a good stack left of about 300+...Sent Lance home...

Before that, I flop a set of 8s and Travis hit open ended straight draw on the flop, I bet, he raises, I think, I push have him way covered...he is seriously thinking of what I have, I tell him, slow down, just fold...I show AN 8...he convinced himself i have 89, I beg him to fold...he says fuck it, calls....i show the set of 8s...he ships it...Try to donkey punch me do ya????....we are down to 4 handed waiting for someone to bust to call it a game cause Travis and Pops don't wanna call it quits cause they are stuck...Pops finally busts when Mikey rivers a diamond frush and if you know Pops, he ships it, but when he ships it...the chips all of a sudden can fly!

Over all...good night, played real good...sure beats just dealing huh?

I decided to put together a post that I'll update frequently when we come up with more terminology or whatever...

Everyone has a favorite hand right? Well, In the herd, when we win with each others hand, we toss that person a nice shiny white chip as a Thank you for being able to rake a pot in with your favorite hand. So if you ever sit down with one of us either in Atlantic City or a game around MD and see us toss each other a $1 chip, you know why...We either just won a pot, and sometimes alot of us know why, we wait a couple hands and toss the $1 chip later on but we toss it regardless.

The Herd's Terminology

Apples: Spades. This word was derived from the Taj Mahal days in the Travis/Nelly/Woody game before he owed us $$$ and fell off the face of the earth.

Allen Iverson: All In.

Bets an E: $17. If you know me, regardless of what is in the pot after the flop comes out, If I bet, I bet $17 (in a $1-$2 NL game) So the bet $17 was tagged with my name. (Doesn't have to be on the flop, you can still bet an E on the turn/river, just means you bet $17 bucks.)

Bloop-Bloop-Bloop: A Sound effect one makes instead of calling some one a fish or some one makes a bad play.

"BRRRPRPRPPRPR": (The sound you make when you stick your tongue out and make the farting noise) Is used during the sliding of all your chips a Tournaments.

Donkey Punch: To knowingly play trash to intentially suck out on the better hand and win.

Donkey Show: A "player" that has re-bought into the same cash game 3 buy-ins or more.

Eileen: All in.

Floatie: Lowest boat - 22233

Hee-Haw: A sound effedt one makes instead of calling someone a donkey or someone makes a bad call.

Heinz Poker: To play "Catch-Up" poker. After being stuck in a game, you are not playing for profit, but playing to get back even in that session's buy in.

Hoagie - $500. 5 Meatballs.

Jizzled: To be short stacked. Came from Tall Jaye always short-buying in with minimum buy in amounts.

Meatball - $100

Nifty: $50.

Quack-Quack Bet: $22

Raft: Having the smaller boat on a boad consisting of 2 pairs.

Tension: $10.

Twelve-shun: $12. Derived from tension. Note: It irritates Nelly so be careful using it too much.

Stitches: When you bleed your stack away.

Tropicana Trip in AC

Yes Yes Yes, There would be now way you could tell I was ever sitting the hospital bed sick all week the way we just head up to AC after a weekend full of dealing games and not resting like I'm supposed to be.

After leaving the Fish Tank, Travis, Noelle and I head up North to AC and hit the Tropicanna.

We get there about 1 AM and told Redpit that we would be up there at that time. He stops by to say hello and ends up being seated at my table, Not an hour of playing, I ran my stack up a good bit..playing great solid poker. Doubling-and-a-half my $200 buy in within the hour...made the players respect my side of the table. Not within that hour, Redpit is seated at my table....wow, we ran that table after Redpit fuckin off his $200 buy in and I spot him a rebuy of $200, he gets the dude he kept playing mind games with whole stack back to have him sitting in a mountain of chips. We both are the only ones with a mountain of chips. Our tables keeps rollercoasting from 4 players to a full table back to short handed because Redpit and I keep knockin out the new players being seated.

One dude sits down and tries to run the table, he can't...I get dealt AK and a flopped a K, but before the flop after he raised my limp, i ask how much you got dude, he is like "what" like WTF you askin me for...Ok...mr. attitude....Flop comes rag-K-rag rainbow and I stick a stack out there, he insta-calls and is insta-out with his BS...he gets up and says nice hand cool guy so very sarcastically and we laugh.

another time, 2 guys sit down Fake ass Soprano look-a-like (Dude Redpit kept messing with) and some other egg-head. Anyway, I'm in mid position with some Pocket Pair and raised to $7 after a couple of limpers. He pushes for no reason...da hell, for some reason that made me mad and said aight ima get this bama. He saw the frustration from me and ended up whispering some sweet nothings into the Soprano dude's ear.

Not 25 minutes into the game, he runs his stack up a lil bit and me and him clash hands again..yes I got this bama now! I look down to JJ, I raise to 7, he re-raises me to $20 and I give a disqusted look again and calls..flop is all rags, rainbow, nothing hire than a 9, I bet $17, he pushes...again...like every pot he was in...everyone folds and I insta-call, whole table goes "OOOOOH" lol he flips over 88 and doesn't improve, he gets up and gets out. LOL.

I hit Quads 2 times on this table within a 4 hour session! Sweet...

Now D&G guy has his girl sittin behind him for a while, stone face all serious...what a joke...Its somethin about these guys comin into the poker room with hats, Big earphones and SUN GLASSES that really make me laugh...they are a joke to me...like they watch too much ESPN or soemthin...I don't know....Just seems like they try to hard...anyway, he is frustrated with me and Redpit. They are short stacked compared to our mountain so they just pick there spots...Now I know im runnin on the heater and look down to 55 when D&G pushes in late position after alot of limping...This table, there were no pre-flop raising for some reason...the only ones were me and redpit...it was obvious everyone was walking light which made it easier for us to get out of the pot when need be. Anyway, D&G Pushes his stack of about $141 bucks left....frustrated push I tell Redpit and show my side of the table 55 and said I wanna call soooooooooo bad....."Fold man...fuck i wanna call you so bad dude..." Redpit then says, you should've called man, he aint got shit but 2 overs, You know you are going to flop Quads...if you flop quads, im done for the morning and I'm going to bed....."Quiet Black dude insta-calls, and some misc guy sitting at the table calls...I ask the dealer can I have my cards back...

WTF Quads....I fall out my seat, I see travis look up from the middle tables and he yells What you fold Quads again donkey?

D&G was fuckin around with AKo, Quite black guy had KK and the other guy had AK also...AK holds up and they chop quite dudes chips...Wow, I scooooooooop if I didn't play so Tiiiight....I had the chips to call, but didn't wanna just throw it away....I tell the table, im done off that BS and me and redpit call it a night/morning.

Take a micro nap in the car cause Travis and the girl are still playing...Noelle made alot of money in the Omaha H/L game w/a full kill....so I wake up about 1 hour before the Tropicanna $10K guaranteed for 1st place starts...I sit down at a $1-$2 NL table to try and re-free roll it, but only made about $60 bucks for the short session, I don't cash my cash game chips and just stick it in a rack and head to the tourney table, im on table 1 so I know I'm not moving at all through out the tourney...make it to break with decent chips...at one point, I'm ready to just quit and double up twice before the add-on period so im sitting on some good chips...I add on for another $100 and sit back down at the $1-$2 Table i was at before start of tourney and end up getting enough for a free add on! it was a 20 minute break and I end up getting KK vs. the gamblin asian guy...he fortunately has a hand and calls my re-raise to him...he popped it preflop to $20, I min-raised him and everyone gets out the way and he calls, we are heads up...

I make my way to the last 4 tables and bust out in 36th place or so...
Top 9 make the money with 1st getting 10K

I go back to the $1-$2 Table and can't make nothin work, I end up getting on a crazy table, did well, then did bad, but in the end, played very horrible...can't hit flops, gettin mad at mumbling old man, tryin so bad to snap him off, I was on snap off tilt and end up shipping the majority of my stack to him, I take a long break, go eat at the Seaside Cafe, come back thinking in good again, then got on Gypsy poker mode and played everything and some, time to go, its 2:45 AM gotta be home by 7AM and end up shipping my stack with a redpit only calling a $10 bet then pushing on the flop hitting the 6, 2 callers for the all in, and guy ends up crackin the AA, I turn trip 6s and rivers skraight to the 6. I tell everyone I enjoyed the crazy ass game, gave everyone dap and said see yall around...that was the most fun table I ever been on and didn't mind shippin the rest of the money I won on that table...

40 Person Tourney at the Fish Tank

Well...Steve ran a very good tourney this weekend at the Tank! Me, Travis and Keenan just dealt instead of playing.

Travis talked me out of playing and just dealing the game so we can head to AC for the rest of the weekend. I did. We dealt a great game, Split the tips down the middle which new guy from MD-Poker was very generous to leave a double tip and we wait for the 2nd cash game to break to head up North to my favorite playground!

Friday Night at Wheaton

Well, after alot of rest I thought I would be able to deal Bert's game in Wheaton. I did pretty well, but had to cut the night out a little early around 2AM.

So if you are looking for a Friday Night game now a days, I will be dealing this game every Friday from now on. So just hit me up and let me know if you ever want to come out.

Lots of crazy action, at times he'll have 2 tables. Good game, gotta talk to him about that rake and food selection, but I think the better he runs his games, A good Friday night game should be in the making!

No Updates? Where ya at?

Well...its been about a week since my last post...I didn't attend any games this past week cause I was in the hospital all week long. I went into the emergency room monday evening and stayed in the hospital the whole week till Thursday afternoon.

They told me I had Diverticulitis. It was no joke going into that emergency room...

Anyway, im up and goin again so everything is cool now!

Just gonna watch what I eat from now on and hopefully never get caught up in that blower again!

Went up with Keenan to Pops place Saturday afternoon to play $1-$2 NL...Nothing really big happened...Was a pretty decent night for me. Bought in for $125, Didn't bad beat anybody.
