Its been a while since I posted simply because its been a busy 2 weeks for me.
Lets see, where I left off was going to Tim's $10-$20 HO rotation game.
Basically, I just been working and playing trying to get this money while I can before games start to slow down again...
I picked up a new dealing gig at Paul's place on Tuesdays...Its a $1-$2 NL game, but I like to jump in the game and give action after a couple of shifts and let Mikey, the other dealer there deal the rest of the night away...Its been cool, haven't rally been doing to bad playing there....
Wednesdays have officially died out. Its just hard to get the players out to Nellys for the Wednesday game, I just can't get the players out like Travis used to be able too...If you don't already know, Travis has been staying in Pennslyvania the past month cause things just didn't work out with the two of them...But all of a sudden, Travis gets his life back in order when Ricky and I found out that we got the place back in Laurel...To help offset the rent over there, Travis will now be staying there and thats where Ricky and I will be running the games from...But thats another story when we start that back up...
But Travis shows up at my doorstep after he has an interview with Money John's company. Money John is a player from Steve's game that has his own company. Sitting around talking Wednesday, we decide to go up...It didn't help that JB called and wanted to go up as well...Well, Travis didn't have any money to go, so I lent him some and borrowed money from JB so we all can go...God damn it, off to AC we go...
So figuring out where we are going to play, Its a simple answer, to the Trop we go, but I remembered the Borgata started running a late night Tournament...I've talked about going up just to play it cause I like the Borgata Tournament structure. So we end up going, JB and his boy didn't play any poker while we were there, but Travis and I jumped in the tourney, before the tourney started, we had about 40 minutes to kill so we sat at the $2-$4 Limit table to mess around, No Looky, Raise it up, cap it up...It was fun to frustrate those players there...Guy hits Quads on me and says I wish it was NL...Heh...Poor fool must not know I'm just messing around there and its only $2-$4 limit, He is pretty sure I pay him off if its NL...Fish, he wishes it cause I wouldn't have been in the hand in the first place if we were playing NL...so the tourney starts up and I last 5 rounds...I just lost huge pot when I flop 2 pair and the guy hits a set on the turn and I have to bail out....It was a good fold and he showed me it was by showing me his Set...whew, dodged that one, but now im under 10x the BB and look down to AKo...I go all in early position to get called by someone with less, gets to the donkey woman who goes in the tank...She then says, I guess I should call cause my cards look pretty (she didn't say they look pretty, but thats what I imagine whats going through her head)....OOOPS, I guess im done...GL you all
I flip over AKo
Guy that called instantly shows AJs
and the woman...flips over her monster KQo
wow, did you really have to think about calling with 2 all ins in front of you with KQ???? You all already know where this is going, but good lawd, I just wonder why I can't go far in these tournies the way some of the players play, They play sooo Bad its sick...
FLop comes out QQ4 and now I have no shot...Me and the guy with AJ just say wow, NH lady and laugh it off...and I go out on the floor and watch JB and his boy play Roulette for a lil while Travis is playing in the tourney...
I come back to him and look at the field, and he mentions to me, its funny how they these players out lasted you huh? So gay...I swear I wanna go back up and play again...
We head down to the Trop and jump on 2 differnt $1-$2 NL tables and I pretty much break dead even when Travis ships it, so we decide to just go home in the morning cause I gotta be home anyway but afternoon when Cheyenne gets off school...
I deal Steve's games on Thursdays and his game has been running really well...
Now Fridays, the Pink game has been sick the past 2 weeks, Last Friday was the first Pink game at Pauls house, I moved it from Nellys to Pauls house for different reasons. Locations, etc, etc...blah blah blah...
Remember the marathon when we moved from Laurel? Well, this time no breaks...Game started at 8PM on friday and ended at 8:30AM........not saturday..but Sunday Morning...36.5 hours straight! WOW...That was SICK...I am not sure if it was just that Friday...Lets see....
So now you know how my week has been going, this week wasn't any different...cep't on Wednesday, we didn't go to AC, I called Keon to see about this soft $1-$2 NL game he goes too...Lets go....so we head off to VA for this game,
Its a decent game and when we walked in, our mouths started to water...you can see just how fishy this game is...Funny, I sat down thinking, this is a fish game, im shipping it...and I sure did..It wasn't cause I was playing bad, well I could've gotten away from 2 hands, but being Tilt is a helluva drug...I shipped it...wow the cards ran me down something fierce...Its nice to see that they think im the biggest fish that came out LOL, I'll see them in 2 weeks and get my bread back...
Pink ran this weekend again...I'm just now waking up not too long ago cause I got home this morning after the game finally broke at 10am Sunday Morning, and the game did start at 8PM Friday night...another 35+ hours of pink...it was sick again...I was stuck in the game a lil bit, but came out un-scathed...not bad for as long as I played, stuck less than 1 rack..whew...
Guitar Hero III came out today, so what am I doing typing on here? I gotta go, just felt I needed to catch up on my blog...Got another busy week coming up...Felt good to stay home instead of going out with Travis and Kenny to a $1-$3 NL game, save me a good $500 bucks tonight by staying in the house...Now im bout to go online and play some guitar hero...last game I played I got punished....Let me get punished again, if anybody wants to play online, I got it for the WII so look me up if you tryin to rock out!

Biggest game I've ever played
I decided to go against all bankroll management rules and take another shot at a big game. This is the biggest game I've ever played. $10-$20 HO8 (30 minutes of Holdem/30 Minutes of Omaha H/L8). This game was GREAT! I actually played good tonight. Lately, I've put my head into the game and play right, specially that I want to reach a goal by the end of the year. Luckily for me I only dropped $360 of my BR th other night, so I'm looking to make it back tonight.
I decided to go and play at Tim's game tonight after I got my hair braided. I only played a couple of hours bcause you guessed it..I'm still car-less waiting for the guy that I bought the car from to replace the lemon he sold me...This shit is starting to get old, but Keenan was nice enough to pick me up and take me to the game...I owe so many peoples rides when I get my car, so I guess I'll be the designated driver to drive to AC for a while LOL. Anyway, since he has to go to work, we left earlier than normal...
I ran my stack up to a little over $800 in a couple of Omaha hands, thats where I mad most of my money. I shipped a lil bit with QQ when I had to slow down when an ace falls on the turn and I had to bail out. AK and A9o was calling me down for no reason at all, none of those hands hit the flop, it was pretty gay. Then I tried to peel before we left when I flopped trip aces in Omaha on a AA8 board, I'm holding AK69..yeah I know, I don't even know why I was in the hand in the first place...but Keenan and Ali are going crazy the whole way and im sitting there trying to peel, I miss and Ali and Keenan flopped a boat, but ali was holding the aces full while kenan had the eights full...
So Keenan ships the rest of his stack, game changed to Holdem, and Its time to go...I cash out a rack of redbirds for a small $100 profit...Blah...I should've made WAY more than that...i wish I knew Omaha was gonna end and I wouldn't have tried to peel LOL

Big Chris Tourney/Cash Game = Sickness
WOW!!!!! If you don't already know...let me begin to tell you about this sick ass game.
we started the day off on Saturday with a $75+$10 NL Tournament. It was 11 players paying out 3 places...we got down to the final 3. Congrats to the final 3. We decided to chop since I couldn't wait to get in the cash game, plus I was just tired of folding and the blinds were up there, and for single table tourney, we had gone almost 3 hours already...lets finish this thing up and play cash game, looked like everyone was standing around waiting anyway, so lets get it going...Finally busted Ryan in the bubble and decided to just chop the money.
1st - Jizzle - $325 ($495)
2nd - E - $250 ($247.50)
2nd - Cody - $250 ($82.50)
Cody and I were pretty much even stacked and Jizzle was chip leader, Jizzle didn't want to chop even money split between us 3 at $275 each, so Cody and I decided to give Jizzle $25 each to him and we split the rest up evenly, he took that deal and we chopped it up.
Now to the sickest $1-$1 NL game ever in history......
For the first 1 1/2 hour, I got in for $100, my first couple hands I shipped something small to th new guys and added on for another $160, so now in im the game for $160...I get on a huge heater and next thing I know im sitting with more than $900 bucks. The new guy has allot of money, its actually 3 of them...he keeps re buying, re buying and re buying...he decides to ask if he can get in for $500, SURE!!! The rest of the table agrees and this is where the fun began! I somehow get the most cooler hands ever...
First off, My AA gets cracked with a J7 when the new guys hits his gut shot on the river...for a nice dent in my stack, im steaming, and get QQ...There is no point to slow play cause the new guy only folded 8 hands the whole night preflop, whatever the bet was preflop, he was right behind you, mind you this is a $1-$1 NL game and if you made it $32 bucks, you will get called in 3-4 spots! My QQ ran into his AA and it was all in preflop...OK, now my once $900 stack is down to >$300 bucks and look at KK...get it all in preflop with the new guy...yup you guessed it, he is sitting on AA again. I stack off and im STEAMING. I almost re bought for $1K...was talked not too do it cause I was tilting, so I got in for another $600, now I'm in the game for $960 bucks...my whole BR that I was trying to re-build. I somehow went on the biggest roller coaster ride ever...at 3AM, the table was holding on to <$3,500!
Its 4PM and the skins game just ended, it was still 7 of us playing and the game was very sick still...Chris has to go but we don't want the to break, Jizzle is sitting with over $2K, I'm at $800 close to breaking even, Kenny with over 1K and the rest of the table had misc. stacks. Big Chris calls last 2 orbits, and what do you know...the last 2 hands were the cooler hands!
2nd to last hand Jizzle and new guy are going at it...I know Jizzle made a $500 turn bet that was called and on the river, new guys pushes all in for the remaining of his stack...Jizzle showing us KK with the board having 4 diamonds and doesn't have a Diamond. He makes the laydown and new guy shows AA AGAIN!!!
Last hand, I call $30 Preflop with Jd9d and flop 2 diamonds, I call a $75 bet on the flop and turn a diamond...Keon checks, New guy checks, I make it $100 to go and he pushes all in....I have $600 behind and don't want to risk it if I lose...I make a deal with him, I'll keep the original $100 bet, you call that and we'll run it out, I stress its the last hand so lets keep it kosher, whats in is in...he agrees and shows me a boat LOL the turn card was a cooler for the both of us, I ship it and walk out there with a $360 loss....Sucked but the new will be back faithfully he says, I like this kid, he has alot of gamble! I'm just happy to walk out with more than half of my BR back..."Whew, what a ride this was" I said as I walked out the door.
Honestly, never will we see a $1-$1 NL game like this unless everyone at the table loses there head like the other night....$4K on the table is just SICK. Typical buy in is usually no more than $40 bucks, here we are one night r-buying for $500+ each time or even adding on to a stack of $200 with $500 LOL, Poker is FUN!!!

Pink Game - Getting close to the 1K mark!
Pink game ran this Past Friday, Ran well, and a good time was had by all as usual. We are coming to the last couple weeks in October and the move back to Laurel is in arm's reach. Monday games will be back in action with a whole new player base and Friday all nighters should be back in action when we are back in Laurel. There are plenty of good changes to be made with Ricky Bobby being my new partner for the games. Everything should be great when November rolls around!
I did get into the game and managed to run my stack up after getting in the game for $150. Yes it is a very short buy, but it works for me, I tent to play a disciplined game and by the time my stack has ran up more than 1 rack, im already used to playing that way and play that way the rest of the night, so I don't ship it....I used to be th biggest pink fish here, but after a long break from playing, fine tuning my game, I have learned a few things for limit poker and now im not doing bad at the game. I'm pretty sure still have some leaks in my game, just waiting to notice them so I can tune them up, so my BR has grown more and I almost reached my 1K mark, Just know im very shy of breaking the 1K mark!

Game #2 - Pops $5-$10 Dealers Choice
Alright, I said I was gonna take a LONG shot at this game...
I called Pops on the way up there cause Keenan and I were talking bout, this is too big of a game to play Dealers Choice too...Its a Holiday today, I'm chilling, I want to play some cards and have some fun at the same time, DC is just too wild of a game on top of that, and $5-$10 can get pretty expensive. It was not agreed on, so the hell with it, lets gamble...$5-$10 it is!
Game started out and the low-ball games, (Razz and Badugi) I kept bricking...I started getting frustrated. I pretty much put up what I won from Chris' game the other night, so I wasn't too happy at the time.
I managed to get back all of the money and run my stack to up a little over $300. Keenan is not too happy, he keeps shipping it, he wants more chips, so he says lets flip...he has $54 to flip before he re-buys. They want to run out 7-card stud, but I tell them I found a new way to flip, its extra fun, I learned this watching some players at Steve's game flip $100's at the end of the night...Anyway, the game goes like this...All cards are mixed up in the middle, everyone grabs any 2 cards and rolls 1 card up with out looking, highest card gets to pull the flop out the pile of cards, then next in order pull the turn, then river. I rolled a T which was the highest, and pulled the flop, AKK hits the board, a 9 gets pulled and a duece gets rivered, I squeeze my last card, and the tip showed and called a 7 out, pissed cause a pair of 9s were leading, i opned up my cards all the way and it was a K, not a 7...SHIP IT! "SLOW ROLL, SLOW ROLL, SLOWWWWWW ROLLLLLLL"
Well, I cashed out an even $500 to add to it, so its slowly getting up there...I was gonna keep a running tab on here, but that might be a little too personal as far as exact $ amount, I'll just give updates soon as I hit my 1K mark.

Strarting from Scratch - Game #1 - Big Chris House
I'm going to start from scratch with this new "project". This should get interesting...
I'm going to re-build my bankroll off with a hot $60 bucks, thats a Min buy-in at the $1-$2 Tables...but at Big Chris house, its not $1-$2 NL, its $1-$1 NL. Most of you all know about this game already from my talk about it or blogging about it. After my lesson from last Wednesday, I'm going to go into this game a little more different, I'm going with the intentions to make money.
Night started off slow, thinking all my cousins and boys were going to be there, not everyone showed up, but it was decent. Here is the good thing about it, its no raked game, but there is a dealer...Buddah dealt first shift, so he was pretty much the only person to cash out for the night, the rest of the night were re-buys after rebuys, and alot of switching dealers. The good thing about jumping in the box here, is that you get tipped, and after someone busts again and has no more rebuys, they jump in the box and the dealer before them circulates those chips again! This went on all night, till 8:30am this morning, Big Chris walked into the room this morning and was already ready to go to work, us, not even realizing that the sun was up! It was alot of crazy hands, I hit a straight flush this morning when I flopped a flush, but it was a gutterball SFD. I turned it to complete the SF, but that 4th diamond to hit, ruined the action on the river, cause my brother flopped a straight on an all diamond board and he thought I was drawing to one more diamond.
Anyway, I ran my original invested $60 bucks to $325 for a $265 profit. I put back the $60 so now its all free-rolling from here on out. Problem is, $265 is not enough for a $1-$2 NL game, I mean I could take a shot and get in for 1 buy in at $200 and see where that goes, or I can just wait till' next week to play at Big Chris house again.
So Game 1 of my new project was good..lets just hope I can run well this month and build it to $1K+ by end of the month.

Always Learning!
The Wednesday $1-$2 Game was on and poppin this past Wednesday, and if you ever Talked to Erick, Everytime we have chinese food there, the actiong gets pretty disgusting. Well thats what we ate. The game looked to be a short game with Nelly and I actually playing, but we had a nice turn out with a couple new faces.
The action was pretty sick, The chips were flying none the less! Ran my stack up peaking around $570 or so...and the way I was playing, well, I was playing like I do at Big Chris house, Like a maniac. if I came in the pot, i came in raising, and really didn't care what 2 cards I was holding. If it was straddled, I made it a point to raise it, specially if alot of limpers. Simply put, it was a hell of a roller-coaster ride! I was just in one of those moods, I didn't care if I lost, and my stacks fluctuated up and down, up and down.
I doubled up on a nice hand., UTG I look down to AJo, Limped around to Jefferson who makes it $12 to go, I call, Kenny calls and I think we picked up another caller as well. Flop comes out 78J (2 hearts). I check, Kenny checks, check, Jefferson makes it $20, I insta call, Kenny raises it to $80 folds around, and Jefferson doesn't look like he wants to fold then does it, I re-evaluate my hand, Kenny just bluffed me off a big pot couple hands ago, I decide to go all in. With kenny covering me, after the $80 bet, it was only $93 bucks to call or something like that. He thinks, asks me if I have a SB Special, I sit there as to try and give nothing away, Now I want him to call, he does, turn brings blank, river brings the flush out, I turn over AJ and he looks at his cards, looks at the board, says I'm good, he flips over 89 for midpair and a Gut shot. Now its on!
I'm on the Button with 6d4d, Kenny, UTG makes it $11 to go, picked up 5 callers, "I can't fold now, call" 6 see the flop
Flop: 66A
checks around to Solo who makes it $20 to go, I call, everyone folds.
Turn: duece.
Check, Check.
River: 4
Solo slids $50 into the pot, I think, and announce Raise it up. $75 more, I wanted to put Solo all in, but I didn't think he would call...$75 was just right, he makes the call. Ship It!
I double Kenny up when he moves seats and goes all in with AK and flops an ace, I say good luck, he knows what I have..."dirty motha fucka" he says...his Ace holds up, I ship him close to $100...24 no good :(
Here is where I learn my lesson...
Now there were 2 new guys from Keons games. Good folks, Decent players, Usually I expect some big fish comin from Keon's games that he goes too, but these guys were really not fish.
Now Im in the CO with TJo and make it $12 to go, I get one caller, new guy.
Flop: T55
I make it $17 to go, John thinks, "Raise" Now its $50, He's been waiting to do this all night to me, both of us are fairly deep stacked compared to the table. I think for a minute, shuffle chips around, Re-raise, I made it $100...He thinks and moves all in..I tried to get some info on it, hoping for just a call...but that min bet was screaming, "I think I have the best hand, but I'm really not sure" and a real bet should get me outta there, I think, think, and give him the benefit of the doubt, and fold my hand after thinking forever. His friend says he had the 5 quietly to him and I heard him and was in digust, "Wow, I did have the best hand" I told John, He says, I only did that cause I know you can lay down big hands, I saw you do it to Jefferson earlier in the night and heard you say that to him. and if you all know me, I lay down big hands to Jefferson allot! I kick myself cause I'm pretty sure now I have the best hand.
anyway, point is that these new guys payed close attention to all the action, and used all the information they were given, and honestly, they got ALLOT of information from all of us. At the Coral, we are all friends, we play to have fun and gamble, but they came to make money. And with all the friendlyness going on, I show alot of bluffs, I expose my cards after hands, I talk too much...I see this is a Major leak in my game and Steve pointed that out to me yesterday talking to him on AIM. I give out too much information and the players that play down here, friendly as it may be, are decent players, as much as we call each other fish, I have allot of respect for everyones game around here and I KNOW FOR A FACT, that they use all the information wisely. Hmmm...I wonder why Its so hard for me to beat allot the games here in MD...maybe cause I just put it on a chalkboard of exactly how I play, reading my blog also just shows how bad I play and everyone can use it to there advantage. At the poker table from now on, Information will not be given ANYMORE. I want to see how this might be able to improve my game, cause I always say, It's so much easier to beat AC, and in AC, I have the mindset to make money, not have fun and make friends. I hardly ever show my cards or talk about strategy and my reasoning behind my decisions. So going to the MD Circuit games, I'm gonna act like I'm in some far off underground poker room 200 miles away from AC. That doesn't mean I won't have fun, I'm just gonna be more serious about playing. Matter of fact, the more I think about it, The quiet ones at the games are usually soaking up all this info all of us give out. Its a different ball game now you all!
Anyway, I just want to talk about one more hand before I let you all go, cause Set over set is always fun!
I went over to steve's game last night to deal, Bi is usually in the box when I get there, it was 9 handed, I was bored and still itchin to play, I havae been playing all week so far, so why not one more day? Seth was on his way to the game as well as others, so I sat down with the intentions to get up when they arrive to avoid stacking off and just deal as planned.
2nd hand in...
I played for 1 hour, played 2 hands. Tom raise makes it $12 and gets 6 callers, I join in the ride in the Small Blind. I have Pocket 5s.
Pot: $72
Flop comes out: T54
I bet out $20, call, call, call Raise to $60, I re-raise $75 on top of that, folds around to her, she goes all in for a total of $265, I cover.
Pot: $590
Turn: T
River: 8
She turns over pocket 4s for 444TT
wow am I a lucky bitch! Ship It! Flopping Set over set is always a fun ride!
Pink tonight looks sick...should be some good stories tonight!
