$1-$2 NL Anyone?

Because I didn't think I Was gonna run my pink game on Friday, I had planned on running $1-$2 NL on Saturday since College Park wasn't running and Pops game was a no go this weekend...This is the start of a busy, very tiresome weekend already...And this only reminded me how tough it is to run a $1-$2 NL Game...its totally different than runnin the pink game...

Anyway, had a great turn out this past Saturday, with TONS OF ACTION...Wow...it was a ton of money on the table!

Game broke at 7:30 AM Sunday Morning...I didn't get to sit down till about 3AM when game felt like it was about to insta break...but luckily, some of the players wanted to play short handed, it was 5, then 6 handed for a while, went back to 5...and at this point, alot of us wasn't even playing the cards, but playing each other...it was pretty sick what type of hands were takin down pots...

I ran my stack to about $800 bucks, shipped about 2oo of it back before the game broke...So it was a pretty good night...LOTS of cleaning up this past weekend having back to back games...no more of that for me...tooo much work for me alone to do...

Finally got to sleep around 10AM after cleaning up, Taking My daughter to her mothers house in the morning...Had to get a ton of sleep cause im Dealing Wheaton Game Sunday night...

Game was slow, and weak...I shipped it...yup, fuckin around in the game...Big Fella Stacked me when he didn't chop with me..I guess he caught feelings cause it was short handed when we were supposed to chop, told him its short handed and not chopping till we get 6 or more players before I start chopping, Anyway, he didn't want to chop with me so I raised it preflop to 12 bucks with T4o he calls, Flop comes out QT7, he checks, I Bet $20, he calls, turn brings a 4, He checks to me again, I bet out $25, he says, lets see how strong your hand really is...um...now I NEED to fold, He min raises me and I insta call....river brings a 3 or somethin stupid...he pushes before i get to push, I insta call he turns over QT....ooops....I shipped it...

Black Friday...Naaaa....PINK FRIDAY

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was pretty good, Ate well, Chilled with Family, Didn't even gamble...Was gonna shoot some dice with my cousins...but he didn't have any dice in sight!!!! Which is a good thing!

Earlier in the week, I asked all the regular pink game players if they wanted to play on Friday after Thanksgiving...Alot of them said no...Friday came around...And they wanted to play...So I got on it and put the word out, if enough interest for the evening, we was playing...And we played! Full table the whole night! I got stuck early, but crawled out of the hole and made a decent profit for the night!!!

Game broke around 5AM (I think it was that early)

Kenny jumped in the game and got his feet wet, Didn't have no clue how to play some of the games in rotation...so it was pretty scary when he raised it and even capping some of the betting rounds...

Game got short and decided to play Holdem instead of Crazy Pineapple, and took Stud H/L out and played Pitch and Bitch...it was a one time thing and the pink game will go back to the normal format when all the regulars play...

Added a new rule to Crazy Pineapple, well its not a new rule, but put into effect that its the players responsibility to discard when its time to discard and when the turn peels off and you are caught with that 3rd card, your hand is now dead...dealer will announce on the flop to discard only 1 time and collect the discards as you make you action...the dealer will not baby sit the players like the dealer did when we first started playing...speeds up the crazy pineapple rounds, makes the players stay on their toes...everyone liked that new rule on Friday so I'll have to announce it when the rest of the regulars show up next week...1 player was caught slippin once and he would've turned a boat...mistakes suck and are costly! Don't get caught slippin!

Show Me The Ace Man!!!!!

Dealing Zach's Game in Wheaton last night, game was kinda short, started late also, Since Bi was there before I was, he was first in the box...So I decided I would sit in the game to keep the table decent till other players arrived...

2nd Hand in I get dealt pocket K's but only got action preflop...took that down...

One orbit around, I decided to play A5o in the CO to a limped pot, 4-ways...Flop comes out A8J, Checked around to me and I bet out $10'sion and everyone folds to me, to get check-raised by Jimmy to $30 bucks..."Call" Happy Jimmy and I are heads up going into the turn...I peel a 5 and Jimmy bets out $50, Insta-Call..River, 5, Jimmy checks, I bet $50, he insta calls, I flip over 5s full and he says God damn it E...What The Hell Man??? Very Next Hand, Jimmy raised it to $30 preflop angrily....

Picked up small pots here and there, lost some small pots when I missed the flop here and there and I'm getting ready to jump in the box at 11PM till I get mixed up with Ken...

Again, I'm in late positon with 8s9c to a raised pot of $10 with 5 calls before me...Flop comes out 5s6s7s and Ken bets out $25, everyone folds, and I yell, Raise...as I'm counting my chips out, im not looking up, Ken doesn't hear me call raise and assumed everyone folded he shows his hand to everyone, everyone said wait a minute, E raised...he quickly grabs his cards and covers them up...Bi makes me min raise it and I do to be on the safe side and ken goes all in and tells me to fold...I saw a black AJ but not sure if its all spades, I ask what did he show, you gotta tell me dawg...he refuses...after asking a couple times, he shows me the Js...I know he has a black Ace, but not sure if its a Spade or Club...and I know Ken makes moves like this all the time...everyone is telling me to fold...I flip over my cards...if Ken is on the spade draw, I'm calling...after looking at the time, looking at my stack, I have about $170 behind me after the raise and whats in the pot, I say fuck it, Gamboool, im bout to get in the box anyway, toss my chips in, snap my fingers, point at the board and Bi peels out the 9s....BOOOOOM!! Straight Flush...Shiiiipppp Itttttttt!!!!!! Pops is Right...3 Outs or less = $$$$$$$$...Ken did have the Ace of Spade...OOOOPS

I sat in the game for another hour then jumped in the box cause the wait list was growing 6 deep at the time...

I made up for to Ken when I was dealing shoving him a $2400 pot against Earl, aka EZ-E when they are both the big stacks of the table with way over $1K each...going into the Turn, after Earl calls a $150 raise on the flop after he bets out $50, Ken goes all in for over $900 bucks and Earl insta calls on a KTxx board with out hesitation...Earl had AK vs. Ken's flopped set of Ts...He tipped me around $80 bucks for that hand...that wasn't the end of it for Ken...He managed to run his stack to way over $3500 after he can't miss a flop for shit..busting everyone left and right...Kevin that Deals Bills game with me on Thursday dropped a shit load of bread as well, after having his stack at around $400, Ken egged him on to add on another $500, the table didn't mind, and Ken ended up stacking him on a bad beat...wasn't dealing that hand, so I can't remember what happened, I just know that Ken cracked Kevin's Pocket Aces....

November 10, 2006 - Pink Game

Pink game went real good, packed house again...Scooter, "scootered" his stack to walk out with a $50 profit after running it to over 1K. Can't really think or remember anything since it's been a while since the game...I made a decent profit that evening though...


November 11, 2006 -Pop's Game

All I remember is I PLAY REAL BAD...one hand i remember was pushing on a K high flush draw on Merk and getting there...wow...Merk bet out on his pair of kings and i just pushed...i dropped a good $600 that night I believe...Kenny came out with me and I dealt the last 2 hours or so cause Nelly was tired...Tried to get my money back, it was a 5-handed game, kenny played 98% of his hands, Pretty sure you know where this is heading...lol...Scooter first put Pops on tilt after Pops showed Scooter a set of jacks on the turn, Scooter still calls the bet and gets there on his 6 high flush draw...Then Pops gets dealt pocket Kings and its a Q high board...Kenny pairs his Queens and Pops is betting out and kenny calling all the way down to spike another Q on the river to crack pops' hand...Pops turns Gambit on Kenny and throws his cards at kenny and immediately kicked us all out and the game was done.

November 15, 2006 - The Coral - "My New Nemisis"

Went over to my regular Wednesday game and lately I been able to run my stack up to over $500 bucks...I got dealt 9T and the flop came out 678 (2 diamonds) I'm not exactly sure if this is how the betting went, I checked the flop, Katie bets a decent amount, Anne calls, I raised it, Katie thinks, calls, Anne pushes all in, I push all in, Katie goes into the tank and mumbles, i wish I never started this or something and mucks...Anne tells me I have to play dodge ball...she has an OESFD and my nut straight holds up! This time I planned on keeping it my stack, lean over to whisper to Travis, "how long do you think i'll keep this before I run it down to $80 bucks"? He tells me im keeping it this time around...Now for Katie...For some reason, Katie, everytime I bet, or raised, she came over the top of me with a better hand...and yes, she did have a better hand...but it was very, very annoying and I mentioned it...Now, I got dealt pocket 7s and raised it to $10...Gets around to Katie and she re-raises me...cep't this time, the whole table went "ooooohhh" and I decided I was gonna stand up to her raise this time around and call the $30 bucks, Jefferson calls as well...Flop comes out K7x...I check hoping Katie makes a move and she bets out $50 or $60...I raise, Jefferson mucks, Katie moves all in, I insta Call...Of course she hits her set of kings to my under set of 7s...I ship her a little over $400 bucks to leave me with $83 bucks ....43 minutes is how long I held my stack...ended up shipping her the rest of my stack when I flopped an OESD and just shoved it in on tilt and missed....

November 17, 2006 - Pink Game

This was one of the juciest pink game ever....Cynthia destroyed the game as well as Scooter...This time, Scooter kept his stack...Lots of players were stuck, at least 3 racks and was able to get it back, I dropped a good amount as well...Game went till 7:30 AM...I Was gonna catch the early morning bus to AC to meet up with everyone else, but the game went long, I was able to get some good sleep before my 6:30pm bus up to AC...One hand I remember, I was dealt rolled up 2s and kept rammin' and jammin the pot with also a low drawing brewing as well...by the river, my set of 2s were good, everyone turned they hand over and i was splitting the low with pops....pot was huge, and after a couple minutes, after zach shipped me the first split stack, katie goes, oh wait...i have a straight....what? god damn she did have a straight....that shit sucked it was like handing me a present and taking it away from me...Scooter took a picture of his stack also....was about $1, 350 in a $5-$10 game...

November 18, 2006 - Tropicanna Poker Room

Took the bus to AC...I think its the cheapest way to go...instead of buying gas to gas the car up, tolls and what not, I paid $40 to greyhound it up, lots of room cause the bus don't be packed, and when I get to the trop, You get a bonus of $20 in cash...so it really costs $20 to catch a bus up there, thats less than buying gas alone!!! Anyway, get to the Trop at 9:30pm...Run into Keenan, as he was bout to cash out a rack of redbirds...I Was extra hungry so I went to grab something to eat before sitting down at the tables...

I ran over the table they sat me at and ran my original $200 buy in to a little over $600, Our table broke and I was moved over to another table where I proceded to do the same shit talking and raising and just trying to bully the table...I paid off a boat when we both rivered the card we need...I had the nut flush when he rivered the Jack diamonds to fill him up...Uh oh...Nelly and Keenan yell across the room asking if I Want to play pink $5-$10 2-way game...Holdem/Omaha H-L8...of course I do, i try and talk some of the players at my table too play, but they are all 1 trick ponies like I figured...so I get up after donking $150 of my stack to the table to sit at the 2-way game...I sit for a rack of pinks and run that up to over $500 bucks...walked away with a decent profit after the game broke, decided I didn't want to follow Kennan and Nelly's footsteps to go to bed to play some $1-$2 NL...again, i run my stack to over $450 to end up shipping it to the Bmore dude that I was running over...he plays sooo freakin bad, and I tried to slow play a flopped 2 to his OESD when he gets there on the river...tilted after that, and end up leaving with $104 before travis actually talked me into going to bed with a slight profit from this evening session...

Woke up and went back downstairs to play...Was on the table with Patty (Mel's Wife...the "Phil Ivey Fans you see on the older WSOP shows on ESPN) I know better to play with them...I flopped a pair of 9s with Q9o on a 9 high flop, 2 spades, Patty bet $40 on it and i go into the tank, and decide to call, i know she is protecting her bigger pair from the flush, so if the flush hits, i can make a move...turn was a blank, and she bets out $50, I call, River brought a Qs and she looks disgusted, so I bet $50 and she mucks...I mumbles that I was chasing a flush, so I showed 2 pair still knowing I was beat the whole time...but like I said, i was trying to set it up to make a move when the flush hit if it did, I got lucky to get 2 pairs! I end up paying some all ins off and need to rebuy...Keenan busts out and is ready to go, I say one more orbit before I go and look down to pocket 8s UTG...I raise $10'sion and get 5 callers to flop a set of 8s with a 7 on that board...i check it and its checked all the way around...the ugly 9 came out and I bet out $25 to get min raised and Anna, Noelle's twin sister that is a regular at the trop decides to shove her stack in there, wow...i ship my stack in there as well to get called...both callers had JQ...duh...to hit there gutshot on the turn, and I can't pair the board....Time to go....down from the trip $250 which I said I Would limit my loss anyway...

Went straight to Zach's game in Wheaton to deal...and the game didn't kick off...so we all decided to play some $5-$10 Omaha H/L8...I made a whopping $45 dollars when I had ran my stack to a little over $400 when I missed every draw on the last hand...caught my 2nd nut low, but Shawn had the Nut Low and Ryan had the high to chop my money up...

Next game will hopefully be at Travis' house...Wanted to play at Big Chris house, but they are moving it to Wednesday, but I think I'm going to go over to Travis' place to play some $1-$2 NL if the game is a go!

Its an Uphill Battle to be left broken hearted....

Went over to the Coral Last night. What a ride I took again...How quickly I ran my stack up to a little over $600 with a $200 buy in to double up Vince TWICE with his pocket Qs hold up...I just leaked, leaked, leaked and needed to call a medic to cure this gash...i needed stiches quick...

On the good side of things...I only bled what I had profited..Anne kept sayin, look at it like this, you are still up $17 bucks lol...Which made me look at the game a little different after leaking away my profits.

Jefferson believed I bluffed him out alot of pots we were in which is not true...I really had a good hand, I was runnin pretty good last night...not saying I didn't bluff at pots...needless to say I was runnin pretty good at the beginning of the game...I had to slow down a bit because everyone started lookin me up so I backed off and only played good hands...

So I sat on what was my original buy in when the table started to break down to leave us 6 handed...Ryan asked that I move over to give room but I really didn't want too so I can still be at the end of the table where I like to be...record be known, I was gonna move, but I like to just be like, "Damn dawg...im right here, man we straight" and I'll still move, but he got ahead of himself and fuckin got loud with me...bama said I was ignorant...what the fuck...Hold up dawg...1., you aint gonna come at me like that, raise your voice then call me ignorant, I aint no sucka dawg...you really think ima move now? I let him know that shit...after all that, i was ready to leave, cause that shit really blew me foreal...But I'll stay till the end of the game cause thats just what I do, unless im broke...

So couple minutes later, Ryan doubles me up....I raise $15 with 44, he just smooth calls me...i check the flop as he does behind me...I believed i check the turn, he bet, i raised, he put me all in, i insta call and he ships it..he has Pocket Aces...to my flopped set of 4s.

Litterally, game is about to break...and I get Aces in the straddle, Dave makes it $12 to go, I bump it up to $35, he calls...QTx (2 clubs) hit the board and I bet $50 on the flop..he calls, I think a 4 hits the turn, i push all in for $142 more, he is really thinking, I almost show my aces, but I want the call...I know I have him beat right now...I actually put him on AQc cause he says he has a big draw...He eventually calls and the river peels off a red 9...i knew that card was a fucked up card, i threw my aces up and said fuck man...he shows KJ for the straight...he got there...I ship my stack to his 6 outer and I call it a night...well it was the end of the night anyway as it was 4 handed after I busted...

Ship It! Or Can I pay you later???

Went over to Big Chris spot to play with the fellas and ladies of the crew...packed house as we went longer into the evening, started off slow with 5 of us playing...I'm supposed to leave at 12 no matter where my stack was but when 11pm came rollin in...so did the rest of the game...how can i leave now? Tide rolled in and its time to go Fishing!

Hand I remember cause it tilted Frank and he wanted to keep talkin bout it all night...I raised $7 preflop with QTo in the CO, Ryan Calls, Frank calls the rest of the table folds...
Q64 hits the board...I Bet out $12 and Ryan shoves his stack in there for $35...Frank, after some thought (actually hollywooding) smooth calls the $35...I visit the think tank for a minute and then ask Frank what he has behind his towers...Frank already was running ok at the start and built up a nice stack...$81 behind the $35...I shove $116 in the pot to put frank all in and he insta calls...turn is a K, River 10...Ryan flips KQ Over for the main pot, i flip over my 2 pair, and Frank mucks his 64 and rebuys...Needless to say, he was pretty sick...

I just took advantage of that and bullyed the whole table, raising every hand i got pretty much and follow up bets, never just calling...I made Frank fold some big hands to me which he would've won...I turned over a couple just to tilt him as much as possible...

Another pretty disgusting hand I got into...8d7d was a monster...I raised my straddle to $12 and got Rock to go all in for another $20 some dollars...Rosslyn pushes her stack in that was another $36 more...I got a little over $100...Pot is huge when it comes to me and I told them off the top, I got a big pair buster...No more action so the board comes out KT487 and runner-runner'ed the shit out of Rosslyn's QQ and I have no clue what Rock had...She was heated with me as well...

For some reason....Rock and Rosslyn get into it about the game before...apparently there was a board for Rock and I really wasn't paying attention...but Frank got into it as well and was alot of arguing...Frank decides to cash out...now knowing there was a board for tonight as well...I'm overhearing rock wasn't gonna pay his board that the pot owed him money, with Frank runnin his stack back up to a little over $250 including his board...and my stack was at $360, I decided it was that time to roll out before I aint gettin paid...plus it was already late and I need to get Cheyenne back home for school the next day, even though she was sleep at Chris House...So made a decent profit tonight...but just shows how bad a board can be for a game...had the house kept better track of boards and the money, I stay a little longer, but didn't want to rick not gettin all the money I worked hard for...I am still owed from some game ago...not alot, but still owed is the point..From the conversation and all the arguing, some players were not paid out all the way this past Friday at his game....get out while you can or be owed money later down the road..........

Ahhh The Pink Game...Friday Finally came!!!

We started the night off with a $50 NLHE Freeroll Tourney that got chopped up 4 ways so we can hurry up and start the Pink Game!

During the Freeroll...Scooter started hittin himself on the leg...got up, did a dance..doing the boogy woogy...then ran in the back and took his pants off and out flew a little tiny mouse! We all were laughing and looking at Scooter like he was crazy! It might sound disgusting...but after watching Scooter take down pot after pot, literally never folding a hand..chasing down every draw and catching...we all wanted that mouse in our pants as well!

Ricky Bobby had a ROUGH night...gettin hit with Quads Twice...I can't play till an open seat is available since I host the game, so I sat behind Ricky Bobby and pocket cam'ed his cards...i saw him turn aces full of 3s holding on to a pair of aces in Omaha H/L8 to get crushed by quad 3s on the river...

Scooter stayed the whole night...and we all just grinded tryin to stack Scooter for those chips...But its Scooter...and he ended up shipping those stacks to everyone by the end of the night...well early into the morning! Alot of players cashed in to bust out so in the morning, the majority of the chips were still flying around..which meant a good night for the remaining players...

Gypsy Pete is a beast...he sat down with a rack and ran it up over two racks Quick...thats just how Gypsy Pete Goes..Last time he played, not even an hour he say down with 300 to run it over 1K....but back to Friday...After runnin his stack up..next thing you know, he's down to six chips, and it's a Killed Stud H/L hand. He gets it all-in on third street, and Richard is in the kill, calls the three more chips...after 3rd Streen, Travis deals all the cards face down to make it a little more exciting and they turn them up 1 at a time...Richard shows a pair of 10s with 4 cards to the low, Gypsy hits 2 pair...7s and 4s with no low to scooooop a dooooop! I don't know what the hell happened...but after about 20 minutes, he did his Gypsy Magic and ended up with over $200 in his stack again!

I love me the pink game...I didn't do too bad either...I got in the game for $200, added on another $100 and was able to hit Scooter with a huge Omaha H/L pot when I had A679 and ended up filling up on the turn 6s full of 7s and was able to pull a low on the river to scoooop a dooooop the pot! I ended the night with exactly 2 racks to give me a $200 profit!

Those that haven't played the pink game is surely missing out...one of the greatest home games in our area!!!!!!!!!

Weee..Rollercoasters Are Fun!!

Went over to the Donkey Coral tonight to play some $1-$2 NL. I was looking forward to playing tonight since it would be the first time in a while I'm playing a "free man" I decided that I was gonna play tonight a little more aggressive than normal...since everyone says I sit on my orignal buy in the whole night meaning I sit and play tight...I also play very passive...Tonight wasn't gonna be that kind of night...I was gonna play more aggressive, see more flops...raise alot of pots and see how it works out...and that mixture of plays makes for a hell of a roller coaster ride...

I got in the game for $200 at first and worked up my stack to a little over $350...oh yeah, i shipped...shipped it right to Bessman's Stack...It was a SICK hand too...wow it was sick...I'm in the Cut Off with Pocket 10s...and its a straddled pot that was limped around to me...5 callers till it got to me and i stuck $15 on top of that and made it $19 to go...4 callers to see the flop...ATA comes out...Nice :) , checks to me, i bet out somethin like $50 and folds to Bessman who re-raises me to i have no clue cause soon as he said raise, and stuck chips out there, i just pushed all in..took him a while to call but when he finally called i turned over my TT for 10s full of Aces...of course he has an ace...A7 to be exact...and long and behold...that magical 7 falls on the turn...Blah...$600+ pot down the drain...Oh i was HEATED!!!

Rebought for another $200 and ran that back up to a little over $500...and that itself was a roller coaster ride, with that running down to less than $120...back up to over $400...then back down....WEEEE its really fun!!!

I talked my way out of a chopped pot when I raised $12 with 8h9h preflop to get 3 callers...Flop comes out TJ4 with two clubs out there....I'm OE with no flush draw and its checked around to me and I bet the flop for $20 bucks or so...JackJr. called and the Qc hits the turn...I bet out $60 on the turn and he goes into the tank...he shows me 89o for the straight...and i just sit there...he asked me what I have behind my 60 bucks bet and i just shoved my chips in there...i tell him if he just smooth calls, you might as well put me all in cause im stickin my stack out there on the river regardless what comes out...I also mention he called me with that bullshit when I raised that pot...he finally mucks his cards and I turn over the same hand...I think that tilted him the rest of the night cause it wasn't long till he ended up shipping the rest of his stack...I Talked my way out of choppin a pot though...WHEW!

Last hand of the evening, Me and Katie are mixed up in a hand...I End up flopping 2 to the club flushy...she bets out and i just call...hit my flushy on the turn...5 high flushy...she bets out 40, I min raise it to 80, she then procedes to raise well tried to raise 100 on top, but she put out 8 blues thinking that was 40 when it was 80 then went back for chips to stick 100 out there...OOPS...String Raise...its only 40 to call, i call it and check the river down and she shows me KQclubs which makes me stuck $45 for the night...considering how all my hands played out, I'm pretty content on being stuck $45...it could've been alot worse than that...

Dealing the College Park game Thursday, then the Pink Game is on and poppin on Friday!

Watch Out Now...E is Back!!

I'm back again! Got the monkey off my back, everyone is squared away...and now its on and poppin...this was definately a lesson to be learned....and it aint happening again...Only close friends know what im talkin bout, but for the rest of you, just know its on again!!!

Time to re-build some sort of bankroll..and begin to have better management of it...and of course my priorities....that being known....I had a pretty good weekend!

Friday Night was the pink game...Sad to Say, Launtz, a very good regular at my old $1-$2 NL games and especially the pink game is being shipped to Iraq for a good year...You'll be in our prayers and hope for a safe return! He has a kid to come back to and so we all hope for a safe return! This past Friday was his last...and he is leaving finally knowing what it really feels like to be a poker player...have a losing session...sucks to go like that...but it happens...Had a new face..his name was Mike and just like any first timer to the pink game...he made out really nice....I myself did ok as well...got my stack to 2 racks :) Pops didn't make it, but he did end up sneaking off to AC...He text me around 2 am and said..."One time for Pops! Pops takes down the Taj 80+20 for $2600...he swore he would never get upset at the suck outs cause he apparently sucked out like a champ to coast his way to the final table!

Sunday went over to the fish tank for a $200+$20 NL Tournament...30 players with first place paying out $3000 bucks...nice hit...if i had hit it...Unfortunately, i made it to 12th place...i did pretty well at start of tourney, made it to first break with above chip average...then i doubled up Jeff...apparently, i was talkin too much..I Limp in with 99 and the board comes out KTT...2 hearts...i bet, he just calls...4s hits the turn, i ask how much you have left, and push my stack in the middle, i have him way covered, as he only has a little over 1700 left...i tell him to fold...save the rest of his money...so he calls with Ah3h with a flushdraw and an over card...K hits the river to give him 2 pair Ace high and I get counterfeited...Gay....another player busts out the other table and its time to condense to 2 tables...I went outside and say jeff is gay and that i was gonna push any 2 cards when we come back to the game....break is over after condensing to 2 tables...oooh 7h8h.."all in" guy is pondering to call with what he says was pocket 5s...redpit insta calls me with TJd and he doubles me up when i flopped da nutz with a heart redraw lol...i win a couple small pots here and there and im back in the race...double up through mikey again and now im doing alright again...cept i went card dead for the next 2 levels with only 6 players on each table and im gettin blinded down somethin massively...i call a raise with AQo and missed and dude pushes on me so i have to fold...now im down to a little under 8K in chips and some guy who took 5th place raised...guy who is acting over aggressive goes all in so i decide ima push and i feel like i can win this race...first guy folds and me and dude are heads up...88 vs. AQ...i tag my A on the flop and felt goooood.....turn....8....blah...i walk away and im done in 12th place...

it was a great tourney, and i would definately love to play in another one again...

Dealing Zach's game tonight, and tomorrow, then I'll be playing at the Coral on Wednesday, Dealing Bills game Thursday, Pink Game Friday then im off thank God!!!!!!

Same Ole, Same Ole

Well, nothing really big has been happening since last Friday, Saturday ended up just chillin, not too much of anything, Sunday ended up dealing Zach's Wheaton Game that broke kinda early...it was the first Sunday they hosted, the Wheaton Poker Room is changing there schedule up. Went back over there Tuesday Night to deal/play...was a decent turn out, but again, the night slowed down early and broke a little after 3am.

Wednesday went over to the Coral and did pretty well at first...then it just went downhill after I busted Bessman, and 3 others after...wasn't even close to midnight when we were down to 7 players...Stuck $90 in the game and being that the game was bout to break, i just got up...

Thursday night, I'm dealing the College Park game...stopped by there after leaving the coral and they just got a new table in and is it pretty!!!! I can't wait to deal it tonight!!!

Friday looking forward to the pink game which is already full at start when I put out the listing for the game early!

Saturday supposed to be heading over to Pops game to play some $3-$6 Dealers choice...friends/family game that he won't be raking!

Sunday going over to the fish tank to play a $200+$20 NL Holdem Tourney, Structure looks really good, being that I'm the one that came up with the structure...nice and slow with a good starting stack..should leave alot of room to play some poker instead of a daily crap shoot like these daily tournies home games...so far its a nice turn out with close to 3 tables that is anticipated to be filled by Sunday!

Pink Game!!!

Well My Pink Game went off Friday Night! Had a full table with a 2 person wait list...so the game went pretty strong! Started the night off with a $50 Freeroll Tourney...The game was NL Omaha High...for a freeroll and 6 minute blinds, the freeroll lasted pretty long...a little under 35 minutes long...

Finally got the game rollin and I'm itchin to play...I usually sit down after there is no wait list..and finally got to sit around 2AM...Unlike last week, I Decided to play tight and right...play ABC Poker, well as much as I Know how to play at the very least...Heh, I didn't ship my stack like I did last week and threw a party...but I do know I got very very lucky on pops to chop a Stud H/L pot from him after rivering the shit out of him to chop the pot...and it was a healthy pot..and pops being pops...he was still pissed he won a pot...more angry that he didn't scoop like he was supposed too...the only person I know to be angry when he wins a pot...

Anyway...I get JKJ and I usually don't play split Jacks, but after alot of talk how Pops loves him some Jacks...I went ahead and played it..Me, Pops and Katie are tangled in the pot and the both of them are showing low cards, I assume my Jacks are good and raise on 4th street, pops re-raises and katie just calls...3 bets on 4th street when a K Falls for me on5th, it actually gets capped 3 ways and I put both of them drawing to a low hand so I wasn't going anywhere with all low cards showing on both there boards, not to mention the K just made me more comfortable with my hand...6th street comes out and doesn't help me, but it gets checked all around...I tell pops that I'm going to raise blind on the river if he bets out...he bets out and katie raises...i swear im thinkin my 2 pair is golden...i have to look at my river card now cause katie raised it...flip it up..."Raise" I say...pops is sick cause he is supposed to scoop the pot...katie gets out quick and he shows a wheel...oooops i rivered a K to fill up, kings full of Jacks...heh, pops supposed to scoop that pot lol me so lucky!!!

It aint the pink game unless we change it up AGAIN...so we decided to play the rest of the night changing holdem to crazy pineapple...oooohh did that stir up some action!!! Tons more action than just playing holdem!

I'm actually considering changing the Pink HOE game to C-POE now and adding a kill to stud h/l...we'll see, im going to poll the regulars and see what they think..

The Donkey Coral

Went over to the Donkey Coral to deal the 2nd half of the game cause Nelly goes to bed at 1AM now...

I got there around 10:30PM thinking I was just gonna deal and when I walked in the door...Travis shows me a shiny open seat....Didn't take that much convincing for me to sit down and play...Give me $150 man...

Sat down and played tight, Decided that I wasn't gonna play like an ass and play hands that would get me in trouble...not tryin to get too fancy with it...Had a good time playing...Nishant came out and Sun as well...New guy Travis picked up at the Trop, Mac...Tight Andrew already busted...Bartender Pete was in the house, as well as Matt.

Not too many hands stand out to me...just remember busting Matt and doubling up through Sun...Picked up a couple small pots, but mostly folded the whole night...

Cashed out the game for $229 when I peaked at close to $300...I owed Travis $75 bucks, so made just enough to pay him, wipe my name off his board and cashed out a cooooool whole $4 bucks!!! Thats a win in my book!!! :)

The College Park Game

Invited Nick over to the game, well he was looking for a game to play, so I told him to come on down since I was dealing...he did pretty well and cashed for a little over $600...made up for the loss he took at the Pink Game...

I dealt pretty much the whole Night and Senyoung was very generous after being stuck $800 to making over 3 racks of redbirds! Dealt the whole time pretty much, game broke around 5AM and I'm dead beat tired...Had a hard time taking a nap...finally got a little bit of sleep, I hope im ok to deal tonight at Zach's place...

Saturday at the S.H.O.P.

Went over and was late...had errands to run, didn't make things any better that I woke up a little late...finally got there after pickin up Trav and Nelly...Game was ok...we missed the freeroll and I ended up shipping $450 into the game...This game is stupid...not the S.H.O.P...but poker in general...Left early cause I gotta deal Bills/Ankur's game Sunday after the Skins Game....

Pink Friday

Pink Game went real strong this weekend! Welcome to our world Nick! Found out it was Nick's first time playing Omaha H/L and Stud H/L but he is a more of a NL player...He told me it was a very expensive lesson to learn those 2 games, but over all had a blast at the game! Steve finally made it out to the Pink game and said its a stupid game...NL Players can't stand Limit Anything...Its a different game with a different strategy...Just happy he finally came out and played and got a taste of it. Eddie cashed out very close to a dime while Travis Donked off chips when he went on tilt...Alot of the regulars came on by and Rocco brought his friend over who was drunk and just wanted to give money away...It was strong and game broke 8:30AM Saturday Morning...Whew..Gotta get up and head over to the S.H.O.P....

Whats the Deal?

Hey everyone...I haven't played poker since Friday!!! IT SUCKS!!!

I have been dealing all week long...Got bills to pay this week so I'll be back in action after Friday on the other side of the box.

Dealt Bill & Encore's Game on Sunday, Zach's Game on Monday, Last half of the Coral game last night, and off to deal Steve's game tonight.

My pink game is on and poppin for Friday Night, Then off to Pops game Saturday as my first game back in action...I do fairly well over Pops place, at least lately...so hope the S.H.O.P. Takes care of me this weekend as I come back in the action!!!

Went over to the Coral last night to test my will power...Actually made it the whole time with out an itch to play!

Pink Fridays

Had the game on Friday...Not such a great turn out, not to mention I lost my ass Friday Night...*Ouch* I'm still sick and its Sunday...

Played 6 handed cause alot of players faked on comin out...not sure what it was...game is usually strong...heh, it happens...

Off to deal Encore's game in College Park to help cope with the big loss....

The Donkey Coral

Went over to Trav and Nelly's game last night. They had me on auto lock but I said at the beginning of the week, why my name is on there, I do this all the time, but for some reason Travis believed it this week and took me off...Probably because he seen that his game filled up all the way with a wait list and didn't need me to play, but its all good...

Got there early with Ricky B0bby tryin to force myself a seat...worked out cause folks were late or a no show so i got to sit midway through the freeroll and start of game, I think we chopped it 3 ways maybe? who cares...got a free $20 bucks to sit early and donk off chips for fun...

$1-$2 NL started with a 5 person wait list...oh this game is goin all night and its tons of money to be made..cept i didn't make any of it...

KQ4 on the flop and i bet $17 on the flop, me and pops are heads up and he just calls...turn brought some random stupid card and i made it $35 to go..he thinks, thinks....i call...Ace comes out on the river, and pretty much knowin i aint no good nomore, i still bet out $45 to be called down with AQ...1st suck out of the night for Pops...he thought i had Jacks, I told him i had KQ but i really had 7d4d...bluffy no worky.....good call pops!!! :)

I Get in a hand with Nevin holding my hand AT when the flop comes out KT3....i check,he bets, i just push, he calls, he had AK..."Everyone thinks Nevin is always bluffin...Caught me like shit...."Rebuy"

Get Kings and made it $15 to go angrily hoping to get some calls....got 4 of em...ooops...flop 666, i bet out $50, everyone folds, Pops shows an Ace, and I take it down...

lose lots of small pots when i get mixed up with Pops again...i make it $7 to go with ATc...I showed ricky bobby and said, these will stand up this time around...since they had lost 5 times through out the night already...Flop came out T high...Pops makes it $35 i believe, i push my stack in and say seat open....

he flips over Kings, and im praying an A or T comes out...nope, im done....

Game is stupid....next time my name gets slipped off the list, it was slipped off for a reason...and I aint comin....See you all there next wednesday....**sigh**

Sunday Games

Went over to Encore's game to deal...Game was decent with a slow start...started pickin up and it was on and poppin...

After leaving there, went over to Big Chris game around 12am...Seemed like nobody really took any money off the table...so i sit down and proceeded to be hit with the deck...raising bullshit, gettin all of them off there hands, and they callin me when i really did have a good hand...Ended up trippling up with the majority of the money on the table and the game broke around 4AM...Went home and went to bed...Nothing really stands out cept me raising T6o and hittin trip 6s on the flop A66...Frank was the only one that called, I kept raising his bets thinkin he had the Ace but in fact he had a 6 also..a 6 with an 8 and yes...we ended up getting all our money in the middle and i stacked him when my T plays...Rossly proceeds to have a case of non-believerism and continues to pay me off...For some reason, she always roots for me to lose my stack...wonder why...she shipped a big pot after she asked if i had a Jack which was top pair, and she kept cold callin me...showdown came and she shipped it...

Frank decides to raise a hand dark, so i min that raise dark as well, and to our suprise, Tall Jizzle pushes all in...Ross is contemplating hard as shit to make a call or Raise all in...I tell Frank and Ross, if you guys just cold call, i will raise in the dark...alot...so Ross is now forced to push or fold..he decides to fold KQo and I warn Frank not to just cold call...he then proceeds to fold...i call Jizzle's all in for another maybe $40 some dollars in the dark...He shows AJ and i turn over my cards one by one...9...ooh a pair....4...ooop 2 pair! Ship it! and when he shipped it, he threw it! lol Derrick couldn't do anything the whole night, everytime he pushed, i just call his all in and win every one...he had enough and said fuck it, and quit...Game breaks...

Monday is a day of rest, went to the basketball court with Cheyenne and her friends, played with all of them and now im ready to deal Jeff's game Tuesday Night!

Mental Stress...

After playing at Pops place earlier today...I must say, this game is stupid and brutal to the mind...I mean...The game is fun...in a way...I love playing...but to be stuck so early in the game sucks...River Ed showed his face today, and I love playing with River Ed...He is so good for the game, and he loves to gamboooool. Crazy Gypsy, River Ed, Travis, Keenan, and Georgia Ave made for an interesting start for the game...I ended up shipping my stack on the side pot when I ended up calling River Ed's all in with Queen High...Crazy Gypsy scooped the main pot with a pair of Tens...How do I miss my draw? I flopped a flush draw, turned an open ended straight draw with my flush and the board pairs on the river...all my chips are in the middle on the turn...Keenan is ready to roll to go out tonight with some friends, and I decide im leaving with him...I sit for a minute and watch and Noelle lent me $100 to play, I got $50 for dealing the tournament so I got back in the game for another $150...Came time for Keenan to roll so I try to cash out and was informed that Pops would take all us home, so i ended up staying...good thing too!

As my towers started to build, I'm a little more confident playing now...End up runnin my stack to a little over $600 when Devo decides he is leaving at 11:30 to go home..heh, i gotta deal at Ankur's game anyway, so I roll out with him...With River Ed puttin max pressure on you, I just didn't feel like dealing with all that stress especially after flopping trip 3s and just cold calling River Ed till the river when he decides to put all his chips in the middle...he has me covered, and I think for a while and end up mucking my hand...I played it so bad, got on a little tilt and got in a hand with Devo...of course River Ed raises to $15 to see the flop, and i look down to Q9 in the cut off with 5 callers...Flop comes out Q98 and devo bets out $60, I think for a minute and just cold call and River ed and everyone else folds...turn came out a 4 maybe? whatever it was, wasn't very threatening...Devo fires out $80...i think for a second to get my balls together and raise him to $160 to see where he is at...he folds fairly quickly...I wasn't sure if he was playing the beast or not...so I had to see where he was at...When we left, he asked what I was re-raising him with and I told him top 2..I asked if he had AQ and he told me he did have a Queen with a shitty kicker, but he told me he only did that to get River Ed in on the hand...after I cold call, Ed folds and it didn't work out the way Devo wanted it too...

I end up leaving after squaring up with Noelle and River Ed with a small profit...

Off to Ankur's game Sunday Afternoon to deal it...hopefully I can make some decent change up in there and then next game after that will be at Jeff's game out Laurel...so I got a couple days with some decent work to hopefully be able to make some change to get this morgtage out the way and square up with Ricky and Steve and I can feel a whole lot better with out any debts behind my back!!!!!
